We booked this hotel mainly because it advertised parking. Only after booking and paid on line we were informed parking was first-come, first-served, and we were not informed beforehand that it cost an extra $30 per night. The hotel was undergoing major renovations, which was not properly disclosed. Reception, lifts and hallways felt like a construction site, and our room had a buzzing air conditioner that affected our sleep. We were also disturbed by early morning construction noise. The staff were pleasant and location was excellent, but overall the stay was disappointed and not what we were expected. Until the renovations are completed, I would not recommend staying here.
The breakfast was good.
We checked into Room 9010 last Saturday. I noticed that there was quite a lot of rubbish under the bed, including cans, tissues, and some leftover food. This should have been checked and cleaned by housekeeping before our arrival.
Apart from this issue, the room was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
