Important information:

- The Club Oasis wet areas will undergo maintenance on 3/11/2025, 5/1/2026, 2/3/2026, 4/5/2026, 6/7/2026, 7/9/2026 and 2/11/2026 (Monday). Both the locker rooms and the sauna area will be closed during the maintenance period.

- In accordance with the Taipei City Government’s plastic reduction policy, and effective July 22, 2025, all hotels in Taipei will discontinue the provision of single-use plastic toiletries and amenities. This includes items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream, comb, and shower cap, among other disposable products. This policy will be implemented in both guest rooms and the Club Oasis.

Parking regulations:

− For parking after check-out, an hourly fee of NT$70 will be charged

Club Oasis Fitness Center:
− Encompassing both indoor and outdoor facilities, Club Oasis Fitness Center is located on the 5th floor and is completed with the latest fitness equipment, sauna and outdoor heated swimming pool.
− Please do not wear swimsuit or other clothing while using the sauna.
− Children under 16 are not allowed to use the sauna.
− The fitness center opens 24 hours daily, while hotel staff are only available from 05:30 to 23:00.
− Guests can use the room key to access the fitness center.
− Non-World of Hyatt members are required to pay a fee of $350 per person per usage when using 5F sauna and attending aerobic classes.

Oasis Spa:
− Oasis Spa provides more than 10 all-natural body treatments, massages and signature skincare products.
− The spa center opens from 11:00 to 22:00.
− The final spa appointment can be booked at 21:00.

Bad American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts Stay
Pros:

Booked a Fine Hotels and Resorts Stay via American Express. Staying with my wife and toddler. Arrived at noon for check-in. Watched as the front desk clerk checked in three guests before me and handed over keycards. Yet when I checked in, I was told that both early check-in and a room grade was unavailable. Now, the room upgrade is 50/50 when booking FHR with Amex. But every FHR hotel will at least make an effort to do early check-in. If your room needs to be turned around, they'll call housekeeping to make sure your room is prioritized for cleaning so they can get you checked in ASAP. Not Grand Hyatt. They simply said early check-in wasn't available. I noted they checked in other guests before me. Also said it would be a great help to me, since I had my toddler with me. Front desk clerk didn't care. MADE NO EFFORT. Grand Hyatt is about 30 years past its prime in Taipei. Doesn't deserve to be an FHR hotel. Will not be staying again. Look forward to when the new competition opens around the corner.

High quality, spacious suite and convenience ...
Pros:

We stayed for 1 week at the hotel in their suite. The suite was very spacious and well designed. It was modern and kept very clean. Even though we are visiting a big city and very much like our convenience, we still wanted a quite and private space where we stay. The Grand Hyatt offered us exactly that. Our buffet breakfasts were included. Even thought the restaurant was busy (one day, there was a big group of people staying their for a conference/trade show), we always managed to be seated quickly. Overall, it was a great experience and I would stay at the Grand Hyatt the next time I visit Taipei.

Good experience. We will be back
Pros:

The breakfast buffet is superb. Smooth check in and check out. The lobby girl from Vietnam x陳清江 helped us to express check out. There was a billing issue before check out, but it got resolved quickly. Room 1645 toilet area has a cigarette smell. The housekeeping did come help with spraying a neutralizer . We plan to be back here again soon. Overall 4.5 stars out of 5.

Pros:

Staff handling our documents carelessly. Got my passport almost get ripped upon check in, Grand club lounge unable to handle guest properly, need to wait 30-45 mins. Only Chinese guest has “consolation” gift for waiting to be seated in the Lounge.

Fantastic!
Pros:

Amazing location. Beautiful luxury facility. Had 2 rooms with access to the club level for breakfast which as delicious with an amazing view. Close to everything - shopping - both upscale (Mitsukoshi, Breeze, Taipei 101) and local (Guangfu Market and traditional small street shops with great local price and food stalls) within a few blocks of the hotel. City park across the street.
