Great location and a beautiful historic building.
The staff was highly professional and accommodating to any needs.
The breakfast was very tasty and varied, and both the restaurant and bar were excellent.
The room was tastefully decorated, very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t stay longer.

It's a beautiful hotel with nicely decorated rooms, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, and it's situated right in the heart of Lund.
Our room was by the renovation, so we couldn't see out of or open our windows, and when we checked in (and paid), it was only the opening the windows that was brought to our attention. There was also a thumping loud party going on until one in the morning. After I complained, the hotel offered a free future stay (as all rooms were booked out to the party), which went a long way to help our experience, as we don't live very far away, and can come back. There was no option for a reduction in price as we had booked through booking.com.
Of course the hotel needs to do renovations, but at such a fancy place as Grand Hotel Lund, then they maybe shouldn't charge full price, or proactively compensate in another way. I shouldn't have to complain about and wait a long time for a solution.
Really lovely hotel. Well appointed close to railway station and in a good part of town. I would certainly recommend it.

Vi fick ingen information i samband med bokningen att det pågick renovering av hotellet. Det var inplastat och fönstret gick inte att öppna. Rummet var oerhört kvavt och dålig luft. Gymmet var stängt. Om vi hade vetat innan, hade vi inte bokat.
