Good place for a 2 night stay in Melbourne
Pros:

Brilliant location, I had the King room, large and comfy

Cons:

Flight of stairs to enter lobby - not great with a heavy suitcase. Renovations were being carried out and the workmen started hammering at 7.30 - too early in an hotel. They were going to charge a surcharge on my credit card as they did not accept cash - fine but there was nowhere on the website to say they would charge a surcharge and I took it up with them and they took the surcharge off.

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We were able to check in early which was a bonus! The room felt cozy when we walked in, soft music was playing and it was nice and warm. Slept well with no outside noise disruptions and the bed was pretty comfy too. Overall it was a great stay at the Adelphi. I would definitely stay there again! 😊

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was that I came here in winter and it was too cold to swim in the roof top pool 😅

Comfortable stay in a great location.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable. mini bar and snacks were a bonus. An optional bottle of wine would have been nice.
Location exceptional.
Shower products were good and the room was pretty quiet at night.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit grubby. Smears on the mirrors and built up grime at the base of the shower.

Led lights peeling off in the robe.

Also it would have been nice to have some notice that there were trade works happening in the building at 7:30 in the morning that was going to wake us up.

Room great.
Pros:

Room set up was great and facilities there good.

Cons:

Building work taking place at the hotel, but I wasn't warned of this. Reception was a small hatch in a corridor, no breakfast available or alternative offered.
