A luxe city staycation.
Pros:

Check in was easy. There’s a great coffee place next door for a morning pick me up. The room design was cool and the bed was great.

And the noise of water filling a toilet cistern somewhere on our floor was heard every few minutes all night!

The location is unbeatable. So close to everything and exceptional restaurant surrounding

Cons:

So basic it was like a dormitory. We have stayed before and loved it. This time it was like they just don’t want you to be in the property at all and rely on surrounding places to get you through your stay. For example not a plate, knife or fork. No wine glasses etc. we were there for a weekend with no restaurant in the hotel due to it being upgraded. I get that, so you would think if there is nowhere in the hotel to get food you may have a few items so you could have a cheeseboard or a glass of wine in your room. We bought things in from the south Melbourne market and ended up taking it back home as there was no way to eat it in the room

This location and room quality is best value for money I’ve found in Melbourne.
Pros:

Great service at front desk. Didn’t have to wait for any paperwork to get key. Helpful on some team advice saves me a bunch of time. Great front desk staff. Room was huge and comfortable.

Cons:

Restaurant was being renovated but didn’t matter. Heaps of food and drink options within a minute walk!

Fan in bathroom didn't work well, lighting in bathroom makes hard to get ready only having 1 mirror in room hard for 2 females to get ready at same time , those are minor inconveniences
