The price is consistent with the quality of hotel
Pros:

Novotel Madrid is the biggest Novotel hotel, close to 800 rooms. It is located on a very busy street as it is usual in downtown. It is walking distance to Parque Retiro, Del Prado and Thyssen museums and restaurants, but is not close to Regina Sofia museum. When the weather is hot it is better to ride cabs that are possible to stop anywhere in the street. The hotel shows age. It is very busy place. A lot of conferences and events go on all the time. This is why people come back to rooms very late at night and slam the doors. The street noise is very noticeable as well. We talked to the reception and they moved us for last 2 nights to a quiet room with the windows facing their courtyard. The room was much smaller, but quiet. The bed was comfortable, but they need to provide better pillows. The dining room for buffet breakfast is huge with a lot of choices for hot food, fruit, vegetables, breads, pastries, drinks but it was so busy from 8am to 10am that it is difficult to find a table. The thing is that a number of airline crews stay in this hotel as well and have breakfast in the morning along with conference attendees. The hotel restaurant is not well attended for dinners. We ate dinner there once, it was OK, at least, they serve dinners at 6pm while other restaurants start at 7:30-8pm. The room service was good, the laundry was brought back promptly. We stayed there for 5 nights, the price was reasonable. The reception desk called the taxi for us to go to the airport at 5am. The taxi arrive on time.

Great breakfast, perfect location for sightseeing, nice parking, comfy beds, nice personnel, swimming pool on the roof, international tv channels, good restaurant.

Cons:

Very small window in the room, making it a bit claustrophobic.

El parking no me gustó nada fui con un coche eléctrico y los cargadores que hay a parte de fallar y perder tiempo en llamar para solucionar el problema ,tenía una carga muy lenta.El Tamaño de la entrada y salida del parking tampoco es muy cómodo.

Ubicación.

Cons:

La habitación que me dieron, estaba deteriorada… en el baño, al llegar la noche, olían mucho las tuberías. Estaba limpio, pero no impecable. No me dejaron amenities, ni vinieron a recoger los platos de comida.
Solo un enchufe en la habitación.
No es lo que esperaba por el precio que pagué….

Ubicación perfecta para disfrutar del concierto

Nos gustó mucho la ubicación del hotel. Estaba muy cerca del Movistar Arena, que era el motivo de nuestro viaje, ya que asistíamos a un concierto, por lo que pudimos ir y volver con total comodidad. Además, la habitación era limpia, cómoda y tranquila, y el personal fue muy amable. Sin duda, volveríamos a alojarnos aquí.

No tenemos ninguna queja. Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable y todo cumplió con nuestras expectativas.
