Breakfast room and buffet choices.
Evening drinks in the bar, and they kindly put the world cup football on for the England game for us.
Too many stairs and random narrow corridors.
It was abnormally hot outside but there was no AC anywhere only small electric fans. Couldn't open windows as was noisy.
The room key was attached to a super heavy key ring which was uncomfortable to carry around.
We had booked to stay for our wedding anniversary and the reception staff did not acknowledge this and each person we dealt with was grumpy as if we had interrupted them. If it was one person you could put it down to a bad day, but this was two or three different people at different times of our stay.
My husband jumped in to assist a very elderly couple that were trying to get their suitcases down the many stairs as nobody from reception bothered.
Excellent bar and proactive staff. Although one or two were a bit severe? Hotel very convenient for the sea and shops.
Apart from 'severe' staff, the double room was absolutely baking and the single room was too small.
Very very clean food was lovely the breakfast is really good and by he staff are helpful and really nice

What a great hotel . The best in the area. Lovely clean room with great size bathroom. Great staff that are very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic breakfast. Having stayed in the other local hotels this one is by far the best. Had a great weekend. Thank you to all of the hardworking staff.

All an old-school seaside resort hotel should be! Welcoming, charming and accommodating are the three adjectives that come to mind. I booked a single room for a two night stay in early July; as soon as Richard became aware that I was on a business trip, he put a meeting room at my disposal free of charge. I returned earlier this week and held an all-day meeting in another larger room. The facilities were ideal for my purposes and an excellent sandwich lunch was provided, all at an extremely reasonable price. I felt better having stayed at The Ardington, not a sensation I often experience after working away from home for a few days…

We celebrated the life of my brother at The Ardington. It was a lovely venue with a private room and really tasty food. A big thankyou to all the team.

Noise after midnight, gulls noisy in early morning but it’s by the sea so standard
Hôtel bien situé et conforme à nos attentes. Le petit-déjeuner continental était bien achalandé et bon. Nous avons loué 2 chambres : l'une côté cour était tranquille et l'autre côté route était bruyante la journée mais relativement calme la nuit. Nous y avons tout de même bien dormi et la literie était confortable.
