perfect!
Pros:

Awesome!! The overall experience was top-notch. I really loved this hotel — the dark-themed design, the front desk service exceeded expectations, and Manager Leo was incredibly helpful. The concierge team was also great and arranged an excellent travel plan for us. The room was spacious and the bathtub was super comfortable.

Pros:

每年都来北京去一趟环球，前年偶然住到了索菲特，因为遇到问题添加了leo的微信，这两年过来都会提前联系他帮我们安排，今年也一样安排的很好，已经是北京必选，房间够大，一家人住不拥挤，唯一问题就是没有投屏不是很方便，其他都很好，地铁几分钟走路就能到！

非常完美，十分方便
Pros:

两天的行程，第二晚选择了市区索菲特，第一晚在环球住的，索菲特房间很大，但是没有环球新，不过整体还挺好的，地铁也近，附近也有吃的，一开始遇到问题，栗经理积极处理帮我们换了房间，还送了水果，整体服务意识很强，下次的话还会选择这里，

Sofitel, it is not. Central, neither. What a let down.
Pros:

Sofitel stands for elegance, joie de vivre, ambiance, hospitality and even the Sofitel scent (18 proven stays in the past 8 years in 15 different Sofitel properties). As an ALL platinum member, I saw none of that during my stay. From the moment we entered the hotel, it was gloomy, no smile, no service and no ambience...plus a RMB300 swimming cap mandatory for entering the pool (who think of bringing a cap on holidays??). The room are nice, but not fully functioning. Front desk help is inexistent. I should have focused more on the negative reviews of the hotel, some being pretty much to the point and echoing my experience.

It felt like a local company had taken over the management of the hotel, without considering what Sofitel stands for.

Super Lage, aber für Sofitel eher schlecht

gute Lage, um Peking zu erkunden.
Der Concierge sprach gut Englisch, war super freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen bzw. Organisation von Trips

Cons:

Super Sofitel Beijing. Great sleep and superb breakfast choice to kickstart your day.
Pros:

Amazing Hotel and well worth the price. Great convenient distance to anywhere downtown - quick Didi (taxi - but very cheap) to anywhere in Beijing. Superb breakfast with an outstanding array of a variety of choices from Chinese breakfast items ( such as the must have Tea Eggs etc) to western style continental breakfast items and luxurious coffees. Superb pillows and super comfy bed and pool too. Space if needed for meetings an very big spacious rooms. All a bargain when compared to other hotels. Very clean and super friendly staff. Breakfast staff will always help you get a box filled if you have an early tour. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Thank you Sofitel Beijing. We are staying here at the moment with my 9 yr old son and he is loving it.

Very Poor Experience
Pros:

Very poor experience. Should have trusted the negative review. At most 3 stars hotel. The room was old which is not really a problem if it is maintained well. But this is not the case, bed was sunken, thermostat was so warm causing the room 27 deg C. Asked for fan, they said all fans were sent out so no more available. As an elite Accor Plus member, this is really falling short of the experience and standard.

Great and comfortable stay !
Pros:

Location is nearby everything to do in Beijing . Service recovery was great when dealing with my feedback on warm rooms due to no aircon during winter. Cleaning was great
