A luxurious friendly stay.
Pros:

The location was perfect. The room was divine. The ambience created with modern photography and design furnishings was both luxe and comfortable. The atmosphere created is friendly and comfortable and never stuffy. The dining area was so warm and inviting and always a pleasure to be in. A luxurious home from home.

Cons:

Wir haben nicht die Zimmer bekommen die wir reserviert hatten (Blick auf den Hafen.)
Der hohe Zimmerpreis entsprach jedoch unserer Reservierung , das Zimmer nicht. Keine Hilfe mit dem Gepäck .
Mangelnde Zimmerausstattung , nur ein Badehandtuch pro Person .
Keine Milch für die Kaffee etc

Ausstattung deutlich zu mager für den hohen Zimmerpreis .

Bett Matratze muss dringend gewechselt werden.

A quick early summer visit to hotel Lydmar
Pros:

Great hotel, location & rooms, but a poor dining experience.

Overall, the Hotel presents very well with good service, a great location, great styling and lovely Rooms. IT also has a really great street side front bar and a more shaded quieter bar on the first floor, both really good.

But the Dining experience in the main restaurant was really very poor and the table next to us joined in our complaint claiming this was the worst food they’ve had in a long time.

Pros:

Excellent location. Great views of the palace.
Friendly hotel staff. Amazing breakfast!!! Loved the breakfast every morning. The king room was very spacious. Included a mini bar, iron, hairdryer, coffee, hair straightener, bath robes with slippers. In room safe. Even an umbrella! Shower and bath tub. Highly recommend.

Excellent location & great hospitality with superb design
Pros:

The team was superb, the welcome, the conversation, the warmth, top notch.... Felt home instantly and felt the same with all the team, this hotel's biggest asset is their team and the genuine care especially from the front of house team / the person who was assisting me at check in overnight... Thank you!
