Much to like but lack of attention to detail by the management lets it down
Pros:

There is quite a lot to like about this hotel. The location is on a quiet street and very well located for anyone wanting to be near Queens University. The public areas of the hotel are well presented and comfortable. The staff were great, warm, friendly and welcoming, but let down by some frustrating management policies. Breakfast was very good, the pastries in particular were excellent.

Cons:

We stayed in an apartment in a block separate from the hotel. The bedroom was ground floor but had no sheer curtain meaning that everyone who walked past could see straight into the bedroom. You could only get privacy by shutting the curtains. The bathroom ceiling had black mould all the way around it. Some furniture was chipped or damaged. Only one set of towels was supplied for two people. The front door banged shut loudly and the inner door squeaked ensuring you were disturbed by everyone arriving or leaving. Hotel takes a £200 damage deposit on arrival but when I wanted to charge a beer to my room I had to give another £50 deposit. We ordered a taxi to the airport for 5 pm. Just as well we checked as it had been booked for 7 pm and we nearly missed our flight as a result.

Location in Belfast

Cons:

Mould on ceiling, Toilet seat broken, paint peeling off ceiling, Shower furniture falling off wall. Hotel personnel responded to issues by sighing, refunded me for parking and then 2 days later the credit for parking on my credit card disappeared. Unbelievable.

Disappointed. Had stayed previously & it was far better.
Pros:

The bar is very nice and the staff are excellent.

Cons:

Breakfast was terrible, generally all cold and poor quality. Potato bread was the exception, that was very nice. The apartment was tatty, wallpaper peeling off, kitchen doors not closing properly and not enough plates to go round.

Cons:

Breakfast was bad, no sausages, no side plates, no cups with handles, orange juice is pure diluted. Tea cups and water glasses used in room were not washed from day before despite room being cleaned. Lift was out of action.

Great for short stay but not able to cater for long stay

Location and facilities and some staff at front desk are very helpful

Cons:

Some staff at front desk are quite fake and instead of giving news deal charged me a higher amount for breakfast and when I asked for extension.

Gem of a hotel in the city
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a great location close to all amenities- restaurants etc
Reception staff were so helpful and friendly! I didn’t get her name but a gem!

Cons:

Other than the shower being cold ( we used the bath so ok) , it was great. Our room was large and modern . Only thing was the radiators were on and it was boiling.
