Location was perfect, near lovely coconut grove and only 2:25 dollars on the train to downtown including the bus to south beach. Hotel was really nice, comfortable and clean.

I stayed at the hotel from June 12-14, 2026. On my arrival I learned that the city had turned off water to the hotel for street repairs but was assured by staff it would be turned back on soon. Well that stretched onto late into the night which was quite challenging. Front desk manager Kevin Estrada was a godsend. He handled the situation and all the complaints from guests including me with understanding, professionalism and a smile. Because of him I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again. He is a true asset to Hilton and the Hampton Inn in particular.

Initially booked 2 nights at the front desk to try out the hotel, and ended up extending another 3 nights. Kevin and the staff are very understanding of requests, and treat you like family. For example, I asked to see a room before booking because I had an issue recently at another Hampton Inn, and they took the time to show me two rooms so I could choose. The rooms and property are well taken care of and cleaning staff even gave the dryer lint basket a really good brushing off when they saw I was going to use it (it was already pretty clean, but they just went the extra step). The location is exceptional for both driving to key spots (Brickell, Edgewater, Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables) or taking the metrorail. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the amazing staff.

As a Hilton Diamond Member, I had higher expectations for my experience at the Hampton Inn Coconut Grove/Coral Gables.

I rented meeting space to host a professional clinical training event and was charged approximately $500 because I was told rates were higher due to the FIFA World Cup. While I understand that special events can affect pricing, my event was held on a Monday, and the hotel appeared to be very quiet. In comparison, many other Hilton properties I've worked with typically charge around $300 for meeting space alone, so the premium pricing was difficult to justify.

Unfortunately, the meeting room was not ready when I arrived, and I had to wait outside while it was being prepared. Once the event began, I also discovered the air conditioning was not working properly. Around 5:30 PM, I requested assistance, and while I appreciate that the staff responded promptly, the repairs took place during my training session. It created an uncomfortable environment for both me and my attendees while I was demonstrating equipment and providing hands-on treatments.

I do want to recognize the front desk team. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. My disappointment is not with the staff, but with the overall preparation of the meeting space and the facility maintenance. For the premium price charged, I expected the room to be fully prepared and operational before my event began.

I hope management takes this feedback as an opportunity to improve the experience for future business guests. As someone who frequently hosts educational events at Hilton properties, I expect the level of service and preparedness that the Hilton brand is known for.

This Hampton Inn was a convenient location for moving our son out of the U. The hotel was comfortable and clean and right within Coconut grove. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was your typical Hampton Inn breakfast. We will stay here again
