Location was excellent, it’s close to a malls and restaurants. Truist Park is even walkable. Very close to bus stops as

The Sonesta Select was a great place to come back to after an evening at the ballpark!
Pros:

The location was ideal. We were there for to ballgames at Truist Park, and our location made it easy to get to where we needed to go. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Having secure parking available right on site was a real bonus!

Cons:

Having a small safe in the room to secure some of our items would have been nice.

Other than the above mentioned complaints, the stay was very nice
Pros:

friendlessness of staff. location of the hotel. comfort of the room and bed.

Cons:

no exhaust fan in the bathroom, no microwave in the room, not enough lighting in the entry to the room, no cart available at early morning check-out, we had to make several trips from the room to the elevator and from the hotel to our car. Mirrors in the room were streaked and smeared.

Besides the wet carpet issue everything was fine.

I didn’t like that the carpet was wet beside the air conditioner and when I called about it the person at the desk advised that’s how all the rooms are…I had to call again the next day because I started to smell mildew and the carpet was turning brown, they sent maintenance to clean it but that’s definitely concerning.

Very dirty, old and dated. Pool was rusting at the bottom. This hotel needs a total overhaul. Everything needs to be replaced.
