Cons:

Staff were presumptuous about why I would be needing an early 4 AM checkout- about where I might be headed off to. Totally unwarranted to speculate on where I might be flying off to! I could be going anywhere!! Parking fee seems unnecessary.

Worth the stay if they leave you alone.

The staff. She racially profiled me as another guest, handed me his room keys, and then proceeded to blame me for her mistake.

For clarity, I called the front desk on the way there to check if my room is ready. She said yes. So, when I walked in, I told her ‘we spoke on the phone and that we were ready to check in’, to which she responded excitingly, ‘yes, I was just talking to you.’ She handed me some key cards and told me my room number and told me she would comp my parking permit for the weekend. I was thrown off with the complimentary parking, that I didn’t think twice about what happened.

I walked into someone else’s room. The man she mistook me for was wearing a business suit and a crew cut with a much deeper voice than mine. I was wearing shorts and a tank top. The man looks at least 10 years older than me. So, I am not sure how she thought he and I looked the same other than being Asian with glasses.

I walked back to the front desk to find her on the phone with that same man. She hung up, and stated that I should have told her that I wasn’t him (as if I had known who the other man was). She proceeded to charge me for parking for both nights when I only had parking for one night.

Great stay!
Pros:

Check in was seamless, the room itself was clean and easy access. They had a lot of anemetites. Lots of parking, though you do have to pay. Really close to restaurants and the freeway. The bed was super comfy.

Cons:

TV connection, and the pillows could be better, but these are minor for me.

Five Star Service
Pros:

I ended up at this hotel because another one canceled my paid reservation without notice and sent me here. Rochelle at the front desk was amazing, her customer service was that of a 5-star hotel. She made what started off as an unhappy experience nothing but positive. The next time I need to be near the UCSD campus, I will stay here.

Location was located convenient to our plans

Cons:

Experienced problems checking in. Took a long time due to the hotel not receiving payment booking from Booking.com even though I had confirmation of prepayment

Nice hotel but I wouldn't stay here again. There are better options.
Pros:

Loved the view and it had a sliding glass door.

Cons:

Breakfast. I wish it was self serve instead of ordering. With self serve you can eat as much as you want. With the price of the room, they need to include free parking, free continental breakfast, free wifi. Parking is only free if you opt out of cleaning service.

A good option if you are only staying one night and on a tight budget.
Pros:

Staff was excellent, friendly and great customer service. beds were comfortable, room was clean, location was off busy roads and close to a few dining options.

Cons:

The hotel is very old and there is no sound- proofing at all. We ended up on the second floor so all we heard was pounding footsteps above us, the people in the rooms next to us, and a small dog that barked for hours our second night. If it wasn’t the last night of our stay I would have moved to a different hotel just to get some sleep. Also, the shower was impossible to turn on. Very old fashioned faucet needs to be replaced. If my husband wasn’t with me I never would have gotten it on!
