The restaurant was rather chaotic , first day staff run off feet, breakfast poor, 2 nd day breakfast cooking better, took 45 mins to get , forgot toast .

A lovely hotel and very welcoming.
Pros:

Ideal position, really good bathroom and very comfortable bed. Staff were fantastic, very polite and genuine. We ate there for breakfast and evening meal as the quality was great, it was easy to book and good portions. We also had a snack in the adjoining french cafe, delicious!

Delightful
Pros:

Lovely, quintessentially English small boutique hotel in a prime location. The on-site restaurant is excellent. It's the second time I've stayed here and I will definitely be back.

Cons:

A little bit noisy internally as a result of heavy bedroom doors slamming shut. But I had a good night's sleep in a very comfy bed. Well insulated from external noise.
