We enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

The location was great, the landscaping was beautiful, our bed was very comfortable. Loved the large table in the breakfast room, we could all sit together!

Cons:

I thought there was a complementary breakfast, but I was wrong. We had to buy breakfast, although I must say it was the best oatmeal I’ve ever had! It was extremely confusing finding our room. We were with five other family members, and they also found it confusing. I wasn’t informed that my room was a room for someone with a dog. When my daughter saw our room, she said because it did not have carpet it was a pet room.

Functional, but I wouldn't stay there again.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was strong.

Cons:

The bathrooms are in desperate need of remodeling/modernization. The shower in the bathroom was barely adequate - it was small, dark, and the water pressure was mediocre. They didn't tell us at check-in that the rooms would only be serviced every three days. The hallways smelled like mildew. There was no full-length hanging bar for clothes and no counter space in the bathroom. It was also not clear before we checked in that there were a number of long-term residents in the hotel; there were some interesting smells.

Comfort, location, staff made this a very pleasant stay.
Pros:

I love the common areas, the room size, balconies with chairs and tables and the beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean and staff was exceedingly helpful.

Cons:

The placement of the microwave and refrigerator is awkward, forcing one to bend down to ones knees or toes to use either after opening a door to the whole set up so using them in a darkened cupboard--awkward to be sure. The ice machine was out of order on our floor for our entire stay but one floor down there was another.

Ashland Hills is a great place to stay if you don’t mind being a bit out of the down town and university area.
Pros:

Clean, pool, restaurant, bikes, pleasant and efficient staff

Cons:

My Booking confirmation was for 2 queen beds, but room had a 1 king bed. No other room was available so a roll away bed was offered, but not the same as a comfortable queen size bed.

Comfortable room, great staff!
Pros:

There was some confusion about how many beds the room had despite my reservation stating 2 queen beds. There was only one queen bed available per the staff. They supplied two roll on beds to make up for the difference, gave us coupons for free breakfast and waived the facility fee to make up for the confusion. However, upon entering the room, there were actually two queen beds and a king bed so all the fuss was unnecessary. Apparently it was a room previously used as an appartment and now furnished as a suite. It all worked out beautifully in the end. The staff was very helpful and kind!

Would stay there anytime I’m in Ashland.
Pros:

The king room we stayed in was vary comfortable and vary clean. The pool area was great for us to hang out and relax.

Cons:

The only take away from this property was probably the shower, the water pressure was not great and the shower head was kind of ridiculous.

Convenient, cute hotel
Pros:

The location is very convenient for road trips, right off highway 5 (but not so close that you hear traffic). The pool and courtyard are pretty. There is also a restaurant if you don’t feel like leaving to eat.

Cons:

It was a little bit more expensive this time for our stay, but it’s because of the season. If you go off season it’s about $100 less a night.
