Very clean
Location is nice and close to attractions
The building and corridors Looks very old
Didn’t feel safe enough to stay for 1 person
Lovely modern hotel, nice raw look to the place, comfortable room
All good
Real character and an oasis that you only realise is there when you walk through the door.
Bianca on the front desk at 10 pm when id already checked out and was exhausted after working at a trade show . I was moving onto a different hotel and she was so helpful - charged my phone , helped with my bag. Lovely woman!
The gym they partner with is great but a mile away - in the heat thats a bit far when you dont have a car.
I loved everything about our stay and will absolutely be staying here again. It's a really well designed hotel and the experience was wonderful. It was quiet and chill while we were there and I would love to plan another trip to Austin to have an excuse to stay here again. The bed and the pillows were so comfortable. The food at the restaurant was great and the coffee shop was both convenient and delicious.
No complaints.
I liked the decor, it was colorful, modern and included a nice dining restaurant with a lounge and a cafe for breakfasts. The location was perfect for strolling the bridge and river trails. Close to the best area of downtown Austin.
I really liked it. No complaints.
It was too noisy with dogs barking and people yapping in the hallway. Needs to be more soundproof.
The location is excellent and having some outdoors space was nice for our length of stay. We were the only ones interested in the bikes, so we explored the city for a few days on those, which was a definite bonus!
The only thing that I didn’t love was the bed, which was not terribly comfortable for me. Everything else was great!
Great location. Access to coffee bar and a restaurant on premises. Pool was great
Pool was a little dirty otherwise amazing. Some ruckus from near by saloons, but to be expected with walking distance from everything.
The hotel felt like a renovated union hall. 1960s bauhaus communist luxe. It was a unique place and the staff was so so good. Just the vibe was off. No place to sit and relax except the coffee bar which was always packed. Too hot to sit outside. A cool hip place but not a comfy vibe. Beds were 12” off the floor so you feel like you are sleeping near the floor. Not worth the very high price.
Unique
Was difficult to locate at night.
Love the ambiance, the staff and atmosphere
My room, and the pool.
Everything about the area was nice. A large selection of restaurants all within walking distance to include the restaurant in the hotel itself. Austin is just a friendly city, and the Carpenter did not disappoint.
