Views were amazing plus the turret room. Food and owner very helpful. Enjoyed the stay would go again.
Nothing.
Lovely people, food and location
Picturesque
The view was excellent, breakfast very good.
Very dated decor, room very dated, shower curtains instead of a screen, furry cushions on the bed.
Lovely old fashioned building just out of Barmouth.
We had the Turret room which was very comfortable with an amazing view.
Great breakfast and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Friendly & great location
Great location and clean & friendly
Lovely old property full of history. Comfortable, quiet room looking directly at the sea. Good quality bedding/curtains. Nice refreshments left in the room.
Easy walk, albeit hilly, to the town.
Breakfast was poor. Very small portions. Very sloppy scrambled egg, which I could not eat and vegetarian sausages full of vegetables which I dislike. Came down to find there was nowhere made up ready for me to sit down, but they should know how many guests to expect for breakfast. Seemed rather chaotic. People moving from table to table to get a better view of the sea. The lady running the breakfast room, knocked my coffee and spilt it into the saucer. I expected her to offer to get me a fresh one as it was such a mess, but no! Very much self service. The barman from the night before was rather standoffish too. A pity as it does colour your view of a place.
I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
The owners were welcoming and helpful and "Viktor" in the dining room was very pleasant and professional.
I ate an excellent home cooked supper at a properly laid table and enjoyed the fantastic views from the drawing room later with my beer- what could be nicer?
Nothing. This is a really well run hotel with an interesting history. Congratulations to the owners and staff who are obviously proud of it.
Location and history of the building
Way to expensive for what the accommodation has to offer. Especially the single person room was completely not acceptable for the requested price. Should not be even offered as a room, more a location to store cleaning materials. Also the food was more close to fastfood …
The location, views, especially the dining room. Very good food, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room.
A couple of awkward stairs with doors
Everything was great. Warm welcome comfortable room, views were beautiful.
Nothing
We had a lovely time, the location was brilliant, food and staff were kind and friendly, sitting outside at night having couple of drinks in a lovely peaceful space was brilliant, are already planning on staying there again.
There was nothing really not to like,
