French Market Inn

We had 3 nights here, and it was an excellent stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location, and easy walking distance to all the sights. Our room was spacious and clean, and well equipped - and very quiet. We overlooked the small pool in the interior courtyard, and it was very quiet at night (we were also there in August, which is low season). Coffee machine, daily housekeeping, and comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant, and the place has plenty of atmosphere - we had a really nice stay.

We are so grateful to be able to experience everything the Inn had to offer for our family from quiet atmosphere in the pool and courtyard and the comforts of home throughout the stay. It is such an amazing location on the quarter but still retaining a quieter side within the hotel to have the best of both worlds. Above all is the friendly staff that greets you with a smile and helpful hand every step of the way. Elysia and her staff are always there to help and chat making you feel at home! Thank you again

Sometimes in life one doesn’t need a big vacation but just a break away from work and everyday activities in this fast paced life. I needed just that when I took my annual visit to the French Market Inn. I am a local and I must say that this hotel is simply perfection… it’s historic, in the heart of the action Jackson Square , Cafe Du Monde, The Natchez Steamboat, Tujague, St. Louis Cathedral, and countless other restaurants, and of course they provide the best customer care.
I truly have lost count of all the times I have visited the French Market Inn however, no matter the number of visits I continue to enjoy my stay at this small and quaint hotel. It is my go to hotel for friends and family because we can enjoy all things NOLA by simply walking. There is just something magical about being able to walk a city and this location provides just that. In addition, I love the peace and quiet that I am able to receive while visiting. The rooms are historic and I love the exposed brink, the courtyard, and just the quiet. In a world where large is king this place reminds me of why small and intimate is perfect in my world. In addition, the staff is always five stars from taking your bags to simply remembering that I visited last year. Great customer service is difficult to find sometimes but at French Market Inn customers will always feel valued and as if they are staying at a five star property. Thanks French Market Inn for being a well kept secret and providing customers and a quality and quiet place to stay while exploring the city of New Orleans. this is a perfect place for family to stay. front desk Shontria was so helpful booking our tours, every morning Shontria and Elysia were so friendly and saying good morning with a big smile. the hotel is clean and beautiful it has a romantic and historic feel. it is walking distance to the aquarium, to Jackson Square, there's a big parking lot across the street, theres a cvs down the street which was helpful with the kids, you will see the steamboats every time you walk out the hotel. we had 4 rooms and we were able to be on the same floor which the kids loved. we definitely recommend this place!
