My respite stay
Pros:

The location is good for anyone wanting good public transport. The hotel is spacious. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
I was able to have and pay for one course the second dinner i had.

Cons:

The lift wasnt working, my room was on the second floor.
No blackout blind
No grab rail in the bath/shower
Very weak water flow from newly installed mira shower.
Mattress was lumpy
Pillows need replacing wirh non allergenic ones
Decaffeinated coffee packs would be welcome

Very good breakfast choices fresh fruit preferable to tinned ? Fruit salad.
Dinner Menu was interesting but didnot live up to expectation
And too large helping , need to be able to choose one course if not hungry.

The hanging baskets were in need of some tlc
I didnt ask if there was an accessible way in, but that would be important for less mobile than myself.

Quelques jours à Jersey en couple
Pros:

Le personnel est agréable et serviable. L'hôtel se trouve pas loin de la mer et il y a des bons restaurants à proximité. Le petit déjeuner est correct et à l'anglaise.

Cons:

La chambre était limite en propreté, la moquette tachée, des moisissures sur les bords des fenêtres et dans la salle de bain. Il y avait une odeur désagréable chaque fois qu'on est rentrés dans la chambre. Le matelas était vieux et usé, le lit donc pas confortable. La literie de mauvaise qualité. De plus l'hôtel se trouve à côté d'une rue majeure très passante donc la chambre était bruyante. L'hôtel accueille des grands groupes de seniors qui occupe beaucoup l'espace. L'hôtel a besoin d'un grand coup de renouveau. Je déconseille cet hôtel si vous aimez la tranquillité, le confort et la propreté. Nous étions déçus.

It was close to the centre of st helier,

Dommage petit hôtel qui aurait pu être à la hauteur de nos attentes
Pros:

Hotel avec un caractère spécifique anglais vu de l'extérieur mais les prestations loin du résultat attendu.

Cons:

Literie de très mauvaise qualité et acceuil limite.
Bruit routier important venant directement du tunnel.

Had a wonderful time in Jersey but next time will not be staying in this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and polite and helpful

Cons:

The cost of the drinks and food were very high and the options for the evening meal were not very much. the cost of £ 17.50 for breakfast per person was astronomical. the hotel badly needs updating and there were cracks in the ceiling. For what we paid I would have expected a lot more value.

Awful dated, unwelcoming and unclean all for £128 without breakfast.

Cons:

Rude staff, poor hygiene, room was old and dated and unclean no menu for dinner, just hand written paper of what I could have, frozen calamari with frozen chips £24 ??? Ended up going out for fresh food. Shocking never staying here again. Wish I had taken photos.

Nettes altes Hotel mit Charme

Cons:

Bett total durchgelegen, in der Dusche lässt sich die Wassertemperatur nicht mischen. Entweder brühend heiss oder kalt.
Frühstück erst ab 8 Uhr. Da viele Gäste die Fähre erreichen müssen ist das eine Zumutung

Pros:

Location is good, staff are friendly, overall nice hotel. The Wi-Fi was good and worked well

Cons:

Bed wasn't very comfy, the rooms could do with modernization as they are fairly old looking and lack in plug sockets for plugging in and charging up devices. Also, the kitchen was crashing around till late at night which can keep people up who have rooms around it or around the courtyard opposite. The shower was also not very powerful.
