Rooms were spacious and clean
We had an incredible experience at the Houghton Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The venue is beautifully maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that made our visit truly memorable.
A special thank you to Peter, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine attention to detail made us feel so well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, and his exceptional customer service really stood out. Samuel helped us beyond measure and we are so grateful for his service. With all the excitement and busyness of our wedding, we had countless vendors, deliveries, and guests arriving, and Samuel handled everything so professionally and efficiently. His willingness to help, positive attitude, and genuine kindness made such a difference during what could have been a very stressful time.

The costumer service is unmatched.

Breakfast was quite good. Service was excellent. Room was incredible. we had a penthouse suite with hot tub and aa view over golf course. Spa was very good. In fact the best I've been to ion SA
Close to dodgy area of Orange grove, but that's South Africa for you.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the penthouse suites, with a pool and hot tub. The apartment was huge as there was only 2 of us. We could have lived in separate places in the apartment and never see each other. Yes it was an expensive (not excessive) experience but was it worth it. The breakfast was very good good choice and variety. The evening meals were also of a high standard.
Only gripe as we stayed in July the air con could not be turned to heating so it was either on cold or we could have asked for it to be switched off

The carpet in the room was dirty. I got lost in the basement looking for correct lift to reception. Getting charged for room service. Limited breakfast options
