Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos All Inclusive

Everything was perfect. Oscar our butler was amazing. Raphael and Sergio by the members pool were amazing. Our room was always clean and comfortable. Our ride to the airport was smooth and quick. Everything was wonderful and fairly priced. I would recommend this hotel due to the great food, drinks and atmosphere. My first impression when I stepped inside was WOW. The noise level at the main pool was pretty high but other than that it was an appropriate amount of noise.

Food is first rate, accommodations are 5 star, and the staff is amazing - special shout out to concierge members Chetan and Edson, and pool concierge Angel for treating us like members of your own family! Each went to great lengths to make our stay wonderful. The pool waiters were very attentive and the food at the pool is awesome (Tuna Poke Bowl and shrimp quesadillas should be added to room service menu - they are the best!

Been to several all-inclusive resorts around Mexico and the Caribbean. This one scores fairly low. The rooms and food are both average. The pools are average. The entertainment is average/sparse. The beach is unusable completely due to winds/currents. The staff are largely unfriendly, unaccommodating to guests, and in some instances outright rude. Compared to other resorts, we felt pretty unwelcome, despite being very kind and patient and providing generously with tips. Anyway, we won’t return to this place and would not recommend it to other families or groups.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort for 5 days to celebrate my wife’s Birthday!
While it was not the largest or most active as some of the other Hard Rock Resorts we have visited, it quickly became our favorite due to the staff and unparalleled service and attention!
We traveled Member VIP as a guest of a friend.
The hotel, pools, grounds, room, beach, and every aspect of the physical property were well beyond expectations.
That said the friendships we established with the staff were a very unexpected surprise!
I would like to recognize a few of these people for their outstanding level of attention and service.
Upon our arrival we were met in the VIP lounge by our Concierge Rodrigo!
We have had many Concierges over the years, but this gentleman was THE BEST!
From our arrival to the departure from the property, he was at our call and made sure we had every and any thing we needed and more!
He even provided us with his personal contact information in the event that we had a question or needed something during his off hours! Simply the BEST!
At the pool, we had the pleasure of meeting Diego, the pool manager. He was fantastic and made sure that we had our desired area to spend the day with a smile and very gracious attitude each day of our stay!
And what is a pool without drinks and food.
Luis our server throughout our stay was one of, if not the best, we have ever had!
He kept us full in every way throughout the day, and even when he was busy, he smiled, interacted, and conveyed that he was truly happy to be of service, which means a lot to us!
Finally, I would like to mention Pamela from the hospitality department. She was our hostess the first night we were there, and coincidentally happened to be the hostess at each of the 4 additional restaurants throughout our stay! She has the same name as my wife, so we made a very quick and great bond!
In closing, this property checks all the boxes.
However, it was these individuals as well as countless others we encountered, that have made this a “must return” and have earned our patronage and friendship for years to come!

5 Stars is not enough!

Miguel was very helpful and helped us check in earlier than anticipated and we were able to upgrade our room. It was exceptional service!

We arrived around 3 and went straight to adult pool waited a long time for guacamole and a drink. Gave up and left. Went to the buffet. Nothing on it anyone would eat. They were closing in 10 mins. Went to a bar because we had no other choice. Everything closed except bars. Tried to eat dinner at 7:30. Over a 2 hour wait at the only 2 restaurants open. They claim 3 are open but one only takes reservations that you have to make 2 days in advance. So I'm going to bed having only ate a bag of chips off the room counter all day. I'm exhaused waiting 2.5 hours to eat dinner is not something I'm up for waiting for. My family paid a hell of a lot of money to come on this trip and Hard Rock has totally disappointed. 3000 for a room for 4 nights and I'm eating chips for dinner!!!

Wonderful relaxing vacation! Thank you to the following staff who made our trip extra special. Jonathan and Raul-Butlers: Aaron, Sergio and Pedro at the Legendary Pool: Zuhey the special Chef for a birthday lunch: Giovanni at UMO: Martin the best bartender and Vera the best server at the Sunlight Bar and Valentine at the Market! Food was delicious! Great experience all the way around!!

I want to start this review by thanking the hotel staff. Every single one was very friendly and attentive, but I want to recognize some who made our stay extra special. Our Butlers, Alexa and Raul, thank you so very much for your excellent attention before and throughout our stay. You made our vacation that much more enjoyable. We are returning in late September of this year and hope to partner with you both again. I also want to recognize Manuel, Jorge, and Ruben at Lyric Pool. All three provided outstanding service each and every day. Last but not least, I want to recognize the staff cleaning the bathrooms, all of them, but especially the ones near the bar by Lyric pool, which were consistently clean and dry. Not an easy task considering the wet traffic.

About the resort: This was our second trip to Hard Rock Los Cabos. The first time was several years ago. The only reason we had not returned was that, up until now, no direct flights had been available from any of our nearby airports. Luckily, now United Airlines offers direct flights out of Newark International. The trip was excellent, although it was a bit windy at the hotel which made it feel cooler than we would have liked. Still, all things considered we had a great time. I can’t say enough good things about the food, at all the restaurants. Our favorite, this time, was UMO, the new(er) Mexican restaurant. Toro was a very close second. Lunch (a la carte) at Los Gallos was also very good. I recommend it. The pools are all very nice, although it was just too windy at our favorite, the Legendary Pool, so this trip we opted for Lyric. It’s a little too loud, at least for me, but because it’s set back and in between two buildings the wind is much calmer. The entertainment is fun, plus they had a live band one day which was very very good. The evening shows at “See the Show” are good. We especially liked the circus show. Don’t miss the end with the “acrobat archer”. We also enjoyed the later shows at the terrace and main lobby, especially the Beatles tribute, Jersey Boys and Habana Band.

Hard rock Los Cabo’s you are my favorite! As a member we come to Hard rock Los Cabo’s often and every time they step up their game!! Lisandro, Jason, and Edy are top of the game in food and beverage and make the stay more than special. They make you feel like a king and deserve more than a raise! Tony in the moonlight bar runs one of the best bars in Cabo. Making the best drinks and making sure everyone is happy! See you in 2 weeks hard rock because you are the best!!!

I am a Travel Advisor who booked a stay for a family member celebrating both a birthday and a wedding anniversary. I made a last‑minute request to have chocolate‑covered strawberries placed in their room. As a small token of appreciation for their business.

Concierge Diego went above and beyond to make this happen. His professionalism attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile turned what seemed like an impossible request into a reality.

I truly appreciate his dedication to creating a memorable experience for my clients. Diego is an outstanding example of exceptional guest service, and he deserves to be recognized for his efforts.

I stayed with a large group of parents and recently graduated seniors.
We all had a great time. Dustin, our concierge, made sure we always knew which restaurants were open and when and where the live music was happening!
The resort staff were attentive, the food was plentiful, and we had good though windy weather.
JOAN at the pool was an amazing waiter, and made the whole trip worth it!

We stayed at Hard Rock Los Cabos for my daughter's senior trip and it was a great experience. The rooms are very comfortable. the service at the hotel is outstanding specially Mar. she helped us so much and made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. She was always offering to help and really made a difference in our stay. The only negative aspect was that because of the hotel's location it is extremely windy, but we would still come back.

This was our second trip to Hard Rock Los Cabos, the first being 6 years ago in 2020 right when everything was shutting down due to COVID. This time we decided to shoot for warmer weather in May as our 2020 trip was in March. This time the weather cooperated and we had temps in the low to mid 80’s. Now, enough about the weather. What made this return trip to Cabo a big success, was the resort and the wonderful staff!! I will start off with our butlers, Edson and Chetan! If you are lucky enough to have butler service, you definitely want to request Edson and Chetan! They have this down to an art! When we vacationed here in 2020, we had the best butler we have had in our 21 years of being a member. Unfortunately Edgar is no longer working at HRLC, but I will say that Edson and Chetan are right there with him! What made them great was their ability to pivot when we needed to change something and eventually they had gotten to the point where they would anticipate what we needed and make the needed change before we asked!!

I also want to give my compliments to the resort on really changing their menus at the restaurants to focus more on cultural dishes from different areas of Mexico. Too often we come to Mexico and find menu items that are no different than we find at home. We really enjoyed the regional flavors featured at the resort!

German- server at Los Gallos was tremendous and has a great sense of humor!

If you decide to discuss becoming a member, please ask for Monse. She is wonderful! Last but not least there is Gil who is the director at HRLC, who has become a friend of our family!

When we decided to come back to Hard Rock Los Cabos, we didn’t know what to expect as our first visit 6 years ago was kind of chilly and not our best México trip! The return was much better and this resort is now on our list of favorites and one we will be sure to return to!

Went to Hard Rock Los Cabos for the Rick Springfield event, and I was a bit nervous because I had been to the Dominican HR which was less than impressive. No worries: Los Cabos was flawless! Highly recommend it. We used Amstar for private transfer and marvelled at the desert landscape, so different than Canada. We had a room that was huge, a big balcony with bathtub, dining area and sofa. Flat screens in bedroom and living room, but we never turned them on. Our bathroom had two separate sinks, a hot tub, and walk-in shower. Beds were so comfortable and room temperature was good (AC comes on when you are in the room and cools down quickly). Minibar was kept full and lots of snacky-snacks. Room service was fast and fresh - I recommend the breakfast on the balcony. Wifi throughout was perfection, never a dropped connection.

We mostly ate at Los Gallos, which was consistently delicious, and we loved our servers, Rocio and Sandy. If you get the French toast, ask for a side dish of caramel to drizzle on it. The Lyric pool bar doesn't open until 11 am so use the bar in Los Gallos as they are open earlier. Foam party was a hoot, and you can also go closer to the beach with another pool near pizza place. Drink service was fast and reliable. We enjoyed the red pool, even though it looks a little jarring to the eye at first, and the hot tub in that area was quite relaxing. Great service at the large pool.

Dinner at Toro was delicious, beef tenderloin was like meat candy that melted in your mouth. The passionfruit creme brulee is to die for. We had room service one night of pizza, which was good, and also teppanyaki table at Zen (you must make reservations at 1:15 in the afternoon the day of the reservation). Try the lychee martini, they read my mind and just kept bringing them.

Hotel has great front desk staff, and the place was spotless; staff always cleaning, mopping, sweeping, gardening - it positively gleamed! The little cafe was great at night for tea and a sweet - I recommend the Pavlova, a meringue concoction. Also lots of pastries and sammies as well as fruit cup for in-between snacky-snacks.

Music everywhere, and nighttime performers on the terrace; one night was a Beatles tribute, and another night was top 10. Drink service was great everywhere. My travel pal said she had the best sleep in ages, and loved floating in the pool with a strawberry daiquiri in hand. Bring a pool floatie and the pool staff will blow it up for you. I brought lots of ones and fives for drinks/service. They work hard and the thank-you's were very sincere. Don't forget a steel travel mug for the drinks!

How was the Rick Springfield concert experience? Beyond awesome! Fantastic lighting and sound in Harmony Ballroom, and piano lounge next door. A thrill to attend the meet and greet, and I hope, if he does it again next year, that it is held here. Shows were all mind-blowingly fabulous fun! Perfect rock'n'roll location!

We also booked a city tour at the reservation centre on site; great tour of Los Cabos and San Jose del Cabo, with trip to Arco del Cabo in a glass boat, lunch included, glass blowing tour, jewelry pearl tour, and chocolate factory tour.

In short, HRLC really delivered on a quality vacation experience, in terms of food, service, and vibe. The only downside is that you cannot swim in the ocean, also known as "The Ocean of Death" (quote by Rick Springfield). But as there is no swim-up bar in the ocean, I was okay with that.

If you have kiddos, there is a Roxcity kids' club with some very nice animation team staff; the kids were having a whale of a time. There are also waterslides outdoors.

TL;DR - really clean hotel with great staff and food, a can-do spirit, and lots of pools to suit your mood. Would love to go back!
