Lovely hotel in a nice part of Athens. Quiet, not far to walk to the centre. Nice restaurants close by. Nice breakfast. Everyone was lovely.

Meanwhile is very quit and the area is very nice.

The staff was very polite and nice.

We had late check-in (after midnight) and early check-out (at 6:00 am) with no problem. Reception works 24/7.

We had two rooms: junior suit with balcony and standard room with bathtube and shower. The rooms are exactly like on the photos.

Very fast WiFi - 80 mb/sec

Cons:

The standard room I booked with the bathtube in purpose. I was looking for the hotels having bathtubes in the bathroom. We had a wedding anniversary with my husband and I promissed him to book the room with bathtube.

The room that was firstly provided to us was without bathtube. We went down claiming the room that booked — with bathtube. After some negotiations the room with bathtube was provided.

The sofabed in junior suit for kids was not prepared although when I made a booking I wrote to the hotel asking to prepair not only bed but also to make sofa bed because the kids are different gender. It was critical because we arrived after midnight and wanted to sleep. The guy from the reception did the sofabed quit quickly. But still some inconvinience and impretion that you asked something, the hotel confirms but it was not done.

The perfume smell in the reception.
I’m very sensitive for the smells trying to avaid any. Coming to the enterance of the hotel in 3-4 meters I was already smelling the perfume…each time I tried to pass very quickly to the elevator not to smell perfume. Sometimes the perfume smell came to our room, maybe from ventilation system. For me it was critical not to have place to escape the smell.

Some thing were broken in the room: small shaving mirror and the fabric on the headboard of the bed. I saw an attemp to sew it but without a result.

A special treat in the heart of Kolonaki
Pros:

We returned to Oniro City after 3 years and found it just as we remembered: flawless. The hotel is perfectly clean, comfortable, and located in the wonderful neighborhood of Kolonaki. Special mention goes to the bed and the breakfast— both were a true treat at the end of our holiday. We hope to come back soon!

It’s my go too place when visiting Athens

A sanctuary in the beautiful city of Athens

Cons:

Greek amenities or a signature fragrance which is unique to Oniro would be a nice touch
