Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, tolle Lage, saubere Zimmer mit bequemen Betten und schöner Aussicht, super Frühstück.
The staff were lovely. Helpful and attentive. Dinner was excellent, a good menu and well prepared food. The facilities were clean and well organised.
The air conditioning was sporadic at best and the ventilation only worked on one occasion. The alley at the rear of the property is noisy into the small hours. This left us juggling the street noise and suffocation. Breakfast was substandard. Shortages of basic items such as scrambled egg and croissants and cheap ingredients such as synthetic bacon and factory chipolatas.

The view was ok.
This hotel was extremely disappointing from the get go. I’m truly flabbergasted the hotel has such high reviews online after seeing the condition of the property in person. Multiple very visible and gross stains on the carpet leading to our room — unacceptable for a 4 star property. The walls in reception and the hallway were damaged in multiple places, as well as dirty and scuffed. The room itself was decently clean at first inspection, but the bathroom was very musty / moldy smelling with multiple mildew stains in the shower & toilet area. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but immediately asked to check out early and get a refund. We were offered a half refund - we took it because staying here would have ruined our vacation. Not happy to have had to pay for 2 nights here when we only stayed one. Would never go back nor recommend to anyone.
Comfortable hotel with lovely staff. Breakfast is great. Housekeeping first class. Rooftop pool with fabulous views across the small bay.
Restaurant does not look special but we have just eaten the best clams, sea bass and scabbard fish ever. Location and atmosphere are wonderful. Relax and stay for as long as you can

Die Lage in der Bucht von Camara da Lobos ist großartig. Der Blick aus den vorderen Zimmern in die Bucht ist sensationell. Der Liegebereich am Pool ist ok. Das Frühstück ist wirklich gut mit vielfältiger Auswahl.
Es gibt 2 Wohnbereiche: im Haupthaus mit Zimmern nach hinten grenzen an die Restaurants und sind laut. Abgesehen vom Frühstück, sollte man das Restaurant zum Dinner meiden. Ich bin nicht überzeugt, dass es einen gelernten Koch im Betrieb gibt. Der Fisch ist lieblos und geschmacklos angerichtet, dafür wird das Gemüse mit einer Knoblauch-"Sose" übergossen. Das Alles ist wirklich traurig, weil man schön sitzt mit Blick auf die Bucht.
Breakfast and dinners were delicious. We especially enjoyed the espatada and fish dishes, prepared to perfection. The service was also excellent.

Nice roof top restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Food good.
Our room was small. The shower control was awkward to use. We were on ground floor and the hedge in front of our window blocked the sea view we were expecting.

Allocated a disabled room, which we hadnt booked but moved to another.
Broken balcony chair, wasn't fixed same day but then we moved.
Second room water pressure very low but put up with it.
A lovely hotel with amazing views from the balconies and the restaurant. All the staff are really helpful and friendly, I'm a coeliac and they could accommodate that really well both at breakfast and when we stayed in the hotel for our evening meal. I mentioned to one of the waitresses, Eduarda, on my first morning at breakfast that I would love a gluten free Portuguese custard tarts, she then asked the chef who managed to get some for me! She was a lovely and helpful waitress throughout our stay, thank you Eduarda.
