Wow from start to finish super clean accommodation maids daily staff friendly. Very modern and well looked after. Breakfast was good.Wasn't to impressed with there restaurant. Had a bit of issue but was resolved respectfully,

An dem Hotel gibt es nichts auszusetzen: Super Lage, schönes Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal. Die gut deutschsprechende (!) Rezeption hat unsere Ausflüge perfekt organisiert. Man benötigt hier eigentlich keinen Mietwagen. Wir wurden zu allen Ausflügen vom Hotel abgeholt. Und da gibt es ja auch noch den sehr preiswerten Busverkehr: Camara de Lobos nach Funchal für 2,65 EUR! Alles in allem waren das perfekte Tage!

We stayed in a room located in the main hotel overlooking the bay. Comfortable bed, decent sized room with a smallish bathroom with an adequate shower.
Very good, helpful, friendly and profession staff (inc reception staff, bar staff, those serving breakfast and looking after the pool side and sauna facilities).
Very fortunate that our room was ready when we checked in and had access to drop of suitcases etc.

A wonderful hotel made extra special by excellent, friendly service. I noticed previous reviews rated the breakfast highly. I would agree but the evening meal in the hotel's restaurant deserves praise. All food was fresh, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. It is a very relaxing restauant with a superb view over the bay. The perfect place to enjoy a glass of Maderian wine as an aperitif. The food takes a little time to prepare but I was more than happy to wait for top quality food freshly made rather than the pre made heated up stuff you encounter so often these days. The chefs at this hotel are excellent.
I must make a special mention of a couple of members of staff who were particulalry helpful. Nuno Gomes and Joao Freitas were wonderful and the hotel should be proud of them.

The room overlooked the bay. We were on the ground floor so lots of people walking by but that didn't bother us. The staff were so friendly, the breakfast was amazing, buffet style, sitting outside overlooking the bay. We ate in the restaurant one night and is was a delicious meal. The rooftop pool and sunbeds were wonderful and the reception staff were so very helpful.

Service and food was top quality. Nadia Cabral service was fantastic. One of the best services in Madeira. Everything was well delivered. I plan to rerun.

Had a great stay at Churchill Bay.
The cleaning service was perfect, the breakfast was delicious and with breath taking view over the bay. The fishermen boats decorared the bay as Winston Churchill’s paintings.

Het was allemaal geweldig, de ligging met uitzicht op de baai, het personeel, behulpzaam en heel vriendelijk, het ontbijt was fantastisch en ook het zwembad op de rooftop. Het bed was helemaal top!

Thank you for the lovely experience at your bar during my visit to Câmara de Lobos. Loved the poncha.

Très bel hôtel parfaitement situé à quelques kilomètres de Funchal, au calme.
Chambre propre et spacieuse. Personnel très sympathique et réactif.

Overall an amazing stay at this cute little hotel on a fabulous location. Very nice staff and great service.
