Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small but the bed was very comfortable. There was a party on the swimming pool area and could hear them until late night. I could not eat on this side and had to have a light dinner at the bar. I appreciated the voucher given by the reception for drinks and dinner.

Cons:

The swimming pool was very very small and impossible to swim. I could not dine there as well the night I arrived.

Nice hotel near downtown, clean and well presented.
Pros:

Rooms had a nice view of the local town and the hotel was clean and well presented.

Cons:

Hotel was expensive, unnecessarily. Vouchers were provided but $9 plus tax and service for a 330ml can of beer that the staff didn’t pour correctly. Tried to grab a drink upstairs one afternoon, couldn’t as some dance class was taking place.

Power in Room Turns Off Every 30 mins by Design
Pros:

The rooms are designed to have the power turn off automatically at about every hour. If you have a medical device, want AC to run continuously at night, need light of any kind or need power or any reason while sleeping, you will be waking up hourly throughout the night. Awful and exhausting experience. A short-sighted cost saving measure that can actually be dangerous unless someone is prepared for a full camping experience while staying here/ has back up batteries, etc. I called the front desk multiple times throughout the night and no one picked up. At one point someone offered to “change my room” but acknowledged that this feature is in all rooms so I’m not sure what that would have accomplished, and they could not offer an explanation or solution. Now I understand why my colleagues avoid this hotel. Lesson learned.

Looks nice but there are better bangs for your buck!!
Pros:

Bar staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Online pics don’t represent what you are getting. Staff was not willing to help. Asked for linen because they skipped cleaning our room. They only brought a blanket.
