Comfortable Stay
Pros:

This hotel hits all the marks for travelers who do not wish to pay astronomical prices in Portland center.
It is clean. Recently updated. Suites are decent size with smallish bedroom and a nice living room. It is quiet - no air traffic sound at all (we were facing airport, but not active runway). Front desk is friendly. Breakfast definitely uses better ingredients than other chains.
The negatives are the shower / toilet layout - very little space to get in/out of shower.

Embassy Suites is always a good choice
Pros:

Our stay was great. We had a room on a high floor overlooking the airport so could see planes arriving and departing. The hotel is particularly useful if you have a flight arriving at the Portland Airport late and night and want to pick up a rental car the next morning. The hotel will send a free shuttle to pick you up from the airport and you can either take the shuttle back or walk over in the morning to the rental car location at the airport. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. We would definitely stay there again.

Very close to the airport
Pros:

We stayed here for one night. Easy check in and good location for us. Breakfast was very good with the made to order omelette station. Room was clean and comfortable.

As all Embassy Suites, it was specious and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Some maintenance is required. AC was smelly and control was not properly functioning. The sofa bed was not very comfortable.

Recommend for early am flights
Pros:

Family of four stayed two nights between flights to/from Portland arriving extremely early near 12am. Front desk was helpful, shuttle on time. Room was clean and quiet, even for the busy time of year. Parking was available and safe. Will stay again.

I liked everything about the hotel. The lobby was beautiful. Everything was clean. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

I would say my only complaint with my room is the water pressure in the shower was really terrible, but I could overlook that because everything else was great.
