The Clyde Hotel

I like the heritage of the building. I stayed at this property 2 weeks prior in a deluxe room which was far superior to the standard that we stayed in this time due to nil availability of the deluxe. Towels need upgrading. The foyer is beautiful and relaxing. The bar staff were terrific and did their job well. As the bar was busy they allowed us to have our drinks and snacks in the foyer area. But they certainly didn’t neglect us. Well done bar staff

Clean and comfortable

Valet parking. Cleanliness. Comfort; bed was very nice. The hotel is beautiful.

Everything was fine. It was a big hotel in a big town. The staff were very efficient and check-in was easy. We were surprised there wasn't a proper restaurant in the hotel, however the bar had simple food on offer which was quite adequate and the restaurant staff were eager to please. Same with a good breakfast, which was served in a separate eating area. Room was fine, quiet and comfortable. Good bathroom and easy parking.

There was a shuttle taxi service to Old Town & back (at a very reasonable token price) which worked well.

Breakfast was excellent, place was clean and Eduardo Martinez was fantastic with waiting on me. Great worker, very respectful!

The lobby was nice and it was in a good location.

Upon entering this hotel, we were immediately greeted with the warmest smiles from the 2 male staff members at the front desk.

Matthew was an exuberant, young man with not only a wealth of knowledge of the hotel’s amenities, but of the history of the hotel and Clyde Tingley.

The hotel itself felt like a luxurious blast from the past, in the most complimentary way. The king room had an amazing, picturesque view of the pavilion and surrounding landscape. The robe & slippers combo in the wardrobe were the most comfortable sets I’ve donned.

Lastly, the COFFEE!!! Wow! A deep, rich coffee; able to be enjoyed in a beautiful coffee cup and saucer. Just simply exquisite. Was gifted extra pods by Matthew and I thank him endlessly for that act of kindness.

The employees were super helpful and friendly! I needed something printed last minute, and the woman at the front desk (Chantel I think?) was a total lifesaver!!

We didn’t arrive until late and left early so didn’t see much of the property.

Very nice location and hotel

From the moment I arrived, Chantel greeted me with warmth and professionalism, instantly making me feel welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and stress-free, handling requests with efficiency, genuine kindness, and an attention to detail that is rare to find. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, anticipating needs before I even had to ask, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, Chantel consistently delivered service at the highest level.
