This was a great place for exploring Salzburg and relaxing at the end of busy days!

Liked the lounge area -- and the option to get free drinks instead of daily housekeeping!
Amazing shower, great water pressure
Perfect location -- not quite in the heart of the Old Town, so not so chaotic, but plenty still nearby and easy to walk to the busy areas

Pleasant stay, but could be improved
Pros:

Even though our room was upgraded and the bed and bathroom were clean, the room itself felt tired, with some visible stains and noticeable dust. The staff were extremely friendly and made a real difference, and the location was excellent.

In reception, there were lovely touches like iced water and fruit, and the umbrellas were a great extra. The communal areas needed hoovering and more attention, which let the place down a bit.

Housekeeping also came very late in the day, so it was difficult to get ready to go out. We didn’t have breakfast, but it looked nice.

Overall, the room and facilities needed a bit more upkeep, but the friendly staff, great reception touches, and cleanliness of the bed and bathroom were strong positives.
