Very central
The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was lovely.
There was only one lift working and it was a long, long wait to go anywhere as when the lift finally arrived it was often full and you had to wait for the next one (or the one after). There was construction going on of which I was not pre-warned. Breakfast was chaotic due to so many people grabbing at things and food could not be replenished quickly enough. There was only one person doing the checking out on the morning of departure and a long queue. The hotel charged double and a half the amount they should have charged (it took quite some time to get my money back).

Location, old historical building -beautiful stairs. Nice bright spacious room and bath in bathroom.
Nothing really. Apart from the pillows, but that is of course personal taste.
Everything from check in to check out was superb. Bedroom perfect for our needs and I would love to know where the room pillows are sourced from as it’s arguably the best pillow I have ever used. Perfect sleep.
Great history and atmosphere! Great experience.
Spacious room, comfy bed, clean and facilities great. Great check in experience too, thanks Persley!
Air con a bit noisy at times but worked well
Right in the train station, easy access to take trains into other parts of the city.

The location of the hotel was great as its not the first time i have stayed there for business and pleasurer , and the staff are always friendly especially the gentlemen on the door .
Out side our window on room 405 , it sounded like a water pressure units that kept switching on and it was difficult not to hear it from 6.00 am onwards sadly . I felt breakfast was below average and not great if you are Gluten Free , we got toast on request and it was nice built overall it was more of a after thought i felt as myself and my partner don't eat Gluten .
Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly...I had travelled a while and managed to check in a little earlier, which was fab. Meant I didn't need to leave my celebrations just to go and check in, which was greatly appreciated. Location absolutely perfect.
I couldn't find the control for the TV, but it would have been an easy fix to just phone and ask for one. I also found the lighting a little strange and wasn't sure how my make-up looked. All in all, I would highly recommend 👌🏻
Lovely stay. Staff very friendly. Rooms were big and beautiful. Definitely will be staying again. Location is on point.
We had another lovely stay at Grand Central. Some really nice touches from Leala at reception to make our night away feel so special. It was really appreciated and things like that are what make Grand Central our favourite choice when we are staying in Glasgow. Our room was beautiful and all the staff we met were so helpful.
