We visited on Sunday Afternoon to use a Gift Voucher we had for Afternoon Tea.
We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who's name sadly I can't remember but it began with J.
He was very helpful in helping us choose our sandwich fillings and his customer service skills were second to none.
Whilst we waited he had a lovely chat & laugh with us and this added to the great relaxing atmosphere of the place.
The food was very fresh and well presented & the Procecco nicely chilled too.
I would recommend coming here for Afternoon Tea as I have been several places in the past and this by far the best.
We had a lovely time & it was great value. The man (sorry I didn't get your name) serving us was very friendly & was having a laugh with us. As I don't drink hot drinks he was okay to let me have a cold drink instead, which was much appreciated. One of us was Vegetarian & the man went through thoroughly what we were getting & basically let us chose from a selection of sandwich fillings which we preferred. We were also asked if we wanted a top up on our drinks. Would love to visit again. Thank you.
Only one negative comment is that the Ginger & Lemon tea was weak, but don't let that put you off.
Location was good and breakfast was good
Room wasn’t clean enough and bath was dirty.
Room was ready when we arrived but hotel wanted extra £20 for us to have it before 3pm - even though it was ready. That is poor customer service.
Came on Monday 8th June for afternoon tea celebrating gift for my 60th birthday

Very outdated plug, sockets etc. Plug in bathroom was broken, The room seemed very dated. One of the windows wouldn't open, The rooms were very outdated compared to the foyer which was excellent
We had afternoon tea at the Novotel Broad Street Birmingham which was probably the best I have had and I have had many. The food was so fresh and the ambience was perfect. Exceptional service was by Juliet who was so attentive and just amazing. An absolute perfect afternoon

TV wasn’t working; staff did come efficiently to fix.
Then the hair dryer was smoking and stopped working. Again; we reported it and house keeping brought a replacement within 10 mins.
We arrived after 8pm so It was nice to have the bar and meal service available. Staff very polite. The lock up garage was also a bonus.
