Lovely place for our visit to Lincolnshire
All good
Great location for the golf course. Fantastic sized rooms with nice facilities. the bathroom is massive with drench shower, bath and flexible shower. Lovely food and really attentive staff.
Comfy bed, lovely big room and bathroom. Lovely bedding, nice touches like bath robes, coffee machine, lovely soaps/shower gel etc.
Few patches of paint needed touching up, slight mould around shower, single glazed glass, I imagine, listed building so can't be changed, but perhaps secondary glazing - I would think it would be cold in the winter.
Beautiful property in a lovely peaceful location
Breakfast was great ,room was very good and comfortable dinner was very good.
The light bites could do with a little more on the menu and maybe be on offer a little longer.
From are point as my wife has some disabilities it was difficult to avoid steps .
Also in the bathroom the bath and shower could do with a grab rail to help get in the bath even for a able bodied person the bath with the mat was very slippery.
IF we had did not get a room with a lift to the floor we could not have stayed.
The people serving breakfast were first class leaving a door open in the morning for my wife to get in to the breast room
The location was great for what we wanted to do. It was clean and the staff we met were very very friendly
The bed was a bit too firm.
The breakfast was terrible! I asked for scrambled egg and toast. The egg was overcooked and grey. It looked like it had been sitting around, being kept slightly warm, for ages. On the second morning I complained they had been overcooked and asked if I could have freshly cooked scrambled egg, lightly cooked. I was assured they would be cooked to order. Once again they were overcooked and even had burnt bits. Didn't even taste like eggs!! Don't have the breakfast. It's expensive and definitely not worth it.

The room was excellent, as was the food. We have been before and will definitely go again.
The property was well maintained and comfortable. The decor was stylish but not over the top. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room and bathroom was huge. Large windows in the bedroom could be opened for fresh air overnight.
We didn't sleep as guests were noisy and nothing was done about this. The phone wasn't answered and so we couldn't book dinner.
We ate in the hotel on two nights and whilst the menu was the same each night the food was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel.
Nice bar area to sit and have a drink, plus plenty of seating outside. Ample free parking, the hotel is in a great location to enable you to walk locally.
We travelled from Sussex to visit the area over the weekend.
The Hotel was comfortable and spacious offering a superb choice of food at dinner.
Our room was very large with a wonderful ensuite.

We visited the Dower House last night for Dinner. Our experience, from arrival to leaving was exceptional.
The meal was well prepared, and presented to a very high standard. All staff were polite and friendly, and made our visit really special.
"Ordered a double Hendrick's poured from the bottle, but it tasted like pure tonic. Another customer next to me had the exact same issue. Be careful ordering spirits here."
