"The hotel, once luxurious, is now in need of renovation. I don't know what a standard room looks like here, but the berret room had a terrible view and was very noisy because of the huge cooling units right outside the window."
Great location near Union Station and Judiciary Square. Having a Irish pub connected is a big bonus, with one free beverage per visit was a huge plus! The room was clean and we did our own laundry which was included at the hotel.
I usually stay at the Phoenix when I travel to DC. The location is easy walking distance from the train station as well as my destination, Capitol Hill. I enjoy grabbing something to eat and drink in the Dubliner located in the same building. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean.
Hotel room very clean, location good, and hotel staffs friendly allowed earlier check in, and supportive when reflected any questions, they would try to solve it!
Not a new hotel but maintains fine.
Need to have a bigger table in the room, especially for business person who would need to put their laptop for working.....
Location is amazing easy access to parking and all attractions
Love the relaxed atmosphere, two free drink tickets to go with the amazing food @Dubliners Irish Restaurant & Pub
Hotel & Room was very clean
Service was great from all the hotel staff
Will definitely stay again
Reasonable location, clean & tidy, rooms on the small side, friendly staff, The Dubliner is handy, food is good though a tad overpriced…
Fabulous boutique hotel in an amazing location and the pub downstairs was beyond wonderful.
Staff was very helpful and friendly will stay again.
Nothing
What an amazing hotel, not just in terms of location, but staff and team. Everyone was so kind and respectful, will stay here every time I am in DC!
The hospitality and care at Phoenix Park are unmatched. Lesley, Ms. Janice, Chef Mary and Awadit went above and beyond at every turn to make sure the 100 guests attending our survivor summit and advocacy day felt cared for and at ease. In fact, at the end of our event when we asked survivors to share words that described their experiences they consistently spoke about the excellent food and service from staff, and the care they received at every turn.
As the event organizer, the stellar customer service began when I first started planning the event. Ms. Janice was patient and flexible as our guest list grew and Lesley and Chef Mary went above and beyond to make sure the various dietary requirements of our guests were met while keeping the menu delicious. Chef Mary even made sure to make extra shrimp salad for lunch because she knew it was a favorite of our event staff. Awadit was always willing to jump in to help our event staff and make sure we were set up for success.
Lesley is a legend. Everyone who meets her quickly realizes how special she is. She was quick to help solve unexpected problems during the event and with every interaction she exuded warmth and a smile. She has been a joy to work with throughout this experience.
This survivor summit has been the second time I hosted a large event at this hotel, and the quality of service is consistently the highest standard. I cannot recommend Phoenix Park Hotel enough for your next event.
The Phoenix Park Hotel is gem waiting to be found. We had a family reunion and the hotel, staff, restaurant (Dubliner) was excellent. The location is great near the Union Station, Capital and other museums. I recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Washington DC. I will definitely use it in the future.
Aún no me han devuelto la fianza. Permanece retenida en mi cuenta
La accesibilidad.
Las alfombras. Son incómodas para las sillas de ruedas
It is in a great location and the outside atmosphere is safe to walk around of course always be on the look out, it is very clean hotel room and the hotel, my room was no noise at all and very confort beds the service staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful, one other thing due to an event on the white house the hotel rates goes at higher prices and if you reserve through a third party hotels website be aware that you still have to pay for hotel resort or amenity fees in person at the hotel, wich sometimes it makes you feel cheated of the total price you already payed for your reservation.
The Dubliner food is mediocre for the price. The 32.00 a day fee is ridiculous as is the 65.00 a day for valet parking. Staff was very nice.
Great hotel! A quick and easy bus ride away from the Vans Warped Tour (RFK park) also within walking distance to union station metro & the United States Capitol building! Overall amazing location!
Atmosphere in both the hotel and the Dubliner Irish pub was amazing!
Room was clean and large, we had a double queen bedroom which comfortably fit the three of us! The mini fridge was a dream!
Free onsite visitor laundry room was also very convenient! (On floor 3.)
There was free coffee and water refill on floor 2, along with sofas which was also super helpful!
