Pros:

We were allowed to check in early since we had an event at the time of official check in.

Cons:

We couldn't get breakfast for some reason. I think they were offering brunch in the restaurant so we couldn't get breakfast unless we did a sit down.

staff was amazing
Pros:

The staff at this hotel is excellent! Location is perfect, walking distance to office and amenities. For this cost the hotel was great, however there were some issues with temperature in the room I had it all the way down to 60 and it was not cooling off. Also the motion lights were only staying on a minute at a time in the bathroom forcing me to shower in the dark and making it difficult for the morning routine, they did fix the motion light after the first night. For the rat that we normally get charged here it is not worth it

Cons:

temperature and motion lights

Convenient hotel, with very nice clean bed and pillows.
Pros:

Great bed. Great pillows; so much so, I bought them online when I got home. Great front desk staff!!
Very nice cleaning staff- friendly and helpful.
Automatic window curtain. Automatic lights. Hotel was close to my doctor’s office. Beautiful pictures of Appaloosa horses.

Cons:

Lots of mold in the grout on the shower floor. Took pictures of the mold. Needs a shower head in addition to the hose.
Noisy heat unit. Loud bang whenever it went on. Kept startling me awake until I turned it off. Another guest was smoking on their balcony. My room stank of smoke.

Easy Proximity to highways and restaurants with a updated and easy hotel experience
Pros:

Somerset hills was the perfect home base for a family visit. Conveniently located to major highways and a varied selection of restaurants and services. The hotel parking lot is small but in a good way. From parking to Check in and check out the transaction was pleasant and quick. Staff was smiling and welcoming all day and night. There’s a lovely Gastro pub and lounge bar with quality pours, drafts and snacks. The rooms are spacious, quiet and updated. We had a minor issue with the safe and the engineer was related within 7 minutes to repair and reset it. We’ve booked our next stay through TripAdvisor!

Pros:

My coffee maker didn’t work - it happens. So, I asked the front desk for a replacement. There was unnecessary drama amid multiple phone calls. First, I was given instructions by the front desk clerk on how to use the coffee maker because they couldn’t fathom that the machine simply wouldn’t turn on. Then, I was told they didn’t have any in inventory. Then, the front desk clerk said they could change my room to one with a working coffee maker. Mindblowing! All I expected was that they swap out mine, for one from another room (hotel was nowhere near full). After multiple phone calls, that’s what finally happened.
And, throwing salt on the wound, housekeeping neglected to service the in room coffee station. Payback?
