Location and staff friendliness
Not recognised as loyalty member
I have stayed at Omni Severin for Gen Con Indianapolis since 2011, and I would choose no other hotel downtown. I love the location the most, and its proximity to the convention center. It is right in the heart of the magic, walking distance to restaurants, bars, parks and entertainment, parking is easy (either valet or self park nearby is no big deal), and the benefits of being a loyalty member are absolutely incredible! The coffee tickets (or bar tickets if you'd rather) are so precious and valuable to me, and the quality of the coffee itself at the newly upgraded cafe is wonderful. The service there is also incredibly attentive, quick and kind, and I think his name is Patrick, but he's been there for years and he makes a mean latte! The front desk team is seamless and kind, especially in the midst of thousands of gamers staying in rooms or using conference rooms for events. The fruity water in the lobby is a small but mighty feature that puts this hotel over the top. And when my friends have looked for table space to roll some dice, the Omni team has always been willing to share a place in the lobby for us until the wee hours. I have stayed in a 2-room suite with my husband and toddler, which was amazing, and I have also had the immense pleasure and good fortune of staying in a 2-level suite with a spiral staircase, and it blew me away with its architectural beauty, spaciousness and quality. The balcony, the floor to ceiling windows, the multiple bathrooms, the space for guest seating, the good Nespresso in-room coffee, everything about it had me and my friends gagged and impressed. These are among the many reasons I will continue to make the Omni my choice for Gen Con -- and I have VIG (VIP) Gen Con status, so I could truly choose any hotel I wanted. I'll keep bugging my friends to book Omni rooms, too, and to be Select Guests for the amazing perks. Just happy to recommend this place with my whole heart!
I had a great stay at the Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout my visit.
The location is a huge plus, with plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. I also ate at the Eighth Notch Café a few times, it was a convenient spot for a quick bite.
The only downsides were the spotty Wi-Fi and inconsistent room temperature due to the AC.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again for the excellent service, clean rooms, and great location.
Such beautiful hotel with with an upscale luxury ambience! Prime location well within walking distance around downtown Indy. The rooms are very clean and most have a beautiful view of the city. The beds are so comfortable that we didn't want to come out from under the blankets. I'm not sure if the rooms around us were vacant or if they are sound proof but there were no interruptions during our stay. We ordered breakfast to the room as well as mimosa's which was fantastic all around from food quality, and service.
Needless to say, we'll be back again very soon!!!
The hotel and our room were both very clean and elegant. The air was on so our room was comfortable when we arrived. Our stay was amazing thanks to the kind and welcoming staff. We did not visit the bar or the restaurant but did stop by the coffee shop when leaving and it was very good! We will definitely be booking with Omni again
I loved my experience at the Omni Severin on my recent work trip. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The lobby and my room were both super cute, and I felt very at home here. Everything was tidy, and the amenities were great. I'm grateful to have gotten to stay here!
Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds
noisy construction outside, only one entrance/exit available, housekeeping knocking on door at 9 am after a late night, valet parking was overpriced
This hotel is bot good value for how expensive it is. The pool had paint from the bottom, floating around and was very small. There couldn't be more than one group in there at a time. Our AC wasn't working. People came to fix it quickly, but it involved opening the return and all the dust falling down (which wasn't cleaned) and running a hose to the bathroom. Overnight parking is $68, even for guests. And finally, when leaving, I called the front desk to get our car from valet and a half hour later, we still didn’t have our car. Valet said "if you come back, know that the front desk doesnt usually notify us in a timely manner". Bathroom is tiny, only one person in there at a time. Not a terrible room, but for the cost, it was not worth it.
Very friendly helpful staff .
Beds too soft. You sunk in. Aircondtioning in the ceiling, didn't like the aircondtioning blowing on me.
Close and convenient to Lucas Stadium
Rooms are dated and beds are uncomfortable
Location and staff
I didn’t dislike anything
How close it was to outside entertainment
The hotel and room was clean. The room was nice and comfortable. It is a shirt walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, which is why we were in town for a game. Several good restaurants around the hotel.
The overnight valet parking is kind of high at $68. The king room was spacious except for the bathroom. The toilet is in between the wall and the shower, not a lot of room.
