This place looked good on paper but once I got here I saw that the property is in a serious need of a renovation. The walls are scuffed and paint chipped everywhere in the hotel. The pool was not advertised as being empty and closed. All in all I would describe the property as dumpy. Definitely not up to standards for this type of property.
The outside view! Walking distance to the river. Took a late night walk.
Construction at the time but no big deal
It was in a beautiful area of the city. The restaurant was great. It was clean.
It was difficult to call the property. I had trouble finding the entrance because of construction around the entrance. I did finally figure it out.
There needs to be an anti-slip mat in the bathtub. I couldn’t take a shower because the bathtub was so slick.
The balcony chairs should be replaced with a bar-height stool so you can sit and enjoy the view. They have them in Condos in Florida.
Could not get bath towels.
Didn't clean the room when you left the room.
This is the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed. I’m not sure where these good reviews are coming from.
The staff is friendly but I didn’t dare eat at the hotel and could barely sleep. If you have another option for a stay in Little Rock take it.
I’m hoping I can figure out where to post the pics of my hotel room so you can see for yourself.
We were here for a business trip in March. The meeting room was a nice 57 degrees the first entire day so people were leaving the meeting. Every surface of the hotel is covered in something disgusting. I left a day early. The hotel made no effort to do anything to accommodate or reimburse us for the terrible facilities.
While at our conference we watched detectives come and go from the 6th floor all day, the people from our group staying on the 6th floor all got moved off that floor because of the crime scene (the hotel denied) and the terrible smell that permitted the 6th floor then migrated throughout the entire hotel. We know it was a crime scene because as one of the members of our group came out of her hotel room that morning she stumbled on a naked woman who had been beaten covered in feces laying in the hallway. She is the one that called the police.
When we got back from dinner that night we got to see the van parked out front that cleans medical waste. You’d think they’d have enough sense to park it elsewhere instead of the hotel entrance where we are all coming and going.
Finally I called Hilton corporate to complain and got no where. They had that hotel manager call me and give me a bs story that they are going to remodel and renovate, no apologies just lame excuses. I am shocked Hilton puts their name on this hotel. Do not come to this one expecting anything other than a dumpy, run down hotel with stains covering every surface.
Hilton should be ashamed.
Website stated check-in at 4. Arrived at 4:15 and was told to check back in twenty minutes. Checked back in 20 minutes again was told to check back in 20 minutes rooms were not available. Checked back in 30 minutes and once again was told to check back in 20 minutes. Called two more times but received no answer. A total of five calls and still no room. Made reservations 12 days in advance still room was not available. Drove back to the Doubletree and was scolded by the lady at the front desk for not calling back which would have been the sixth call made for another 20 minute repeat? Went to dinner, by then it was 8pm. Was given a complimentary breakfast voucher which we used. Was told to insert my cc for $50 incidentals. Got home only to find two $50 charges pending. In hopes of it clearing out. We will not go back to the Doubletree in downtown Little Rock, AR
Convenient location
Both rooms had plumbing issues.
Location
This particular trip, I had to an hour beyond the published check-in time for my room to be ready. There were several others that were waiting as well.
The room was clean but the elevators and hallway carpets looked very dirty. It’s time for a carpet update for sure!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Transportation to our venue for event. Great stay and would stay again.
No vent fan in bathroom
Terass m solstolar
Riktigt porslin o bestick på frukost

This hotel needs to be pushed all the way down. First time visiting Arkansas for Lads to Leaders, and this hotel was completely terrible, trash. First, I arrived only to find that my prepaid, reserved room had been given to someone else due to overbooking. No problem. I was then told they would upgrade me to the Presidential suite... THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE... Pure trash. I usually do not leave negative reviews, but this room was horrible. If I had to rate it, it would definitely be a negative 1 star. There is a mildew smell from the dated carpet in the halls to the rooms. There appears to be black mold in the shower. The furniture is covered with dirty spots. There was no microwave in this “Presidential Suite”—apparently, you had to ask for one. The best part of this place was the view and the staff's courtesy. I would highly recommend staying at the Marriott!
