Cons:

The room smelled terrible. When i went down stairs to the check in the service desk clerk just handed me a can of spray. We also had an emergency we needed to leave a day early. I was told there was nothing they could do to reimburse me. This was my first experience with you and it will be my last

Overpriced, poor service and quality and management who don’t care
Pros:

Honestly, very little other than the location. It’s off wolf Road which is perfect for those looking for north Albany and great restaurants. But there are many many other hotels offering better service.

Cons:

Poor service, plastic cutlery, poor quality breakfast, cheap pillows and bedding, generally shoddy.

I would stay there again if in the area and needed overnight accommodations as it was comfortable.
Pros:

LOCATION was great to get on the thruway to NYC.
Breakfast was good and accommodations were good.

Cons:

Mattress was a little hard for me but not for my husband.

Pros:

Stayed overnight on our way to Connecticut. Felt like we were in Motel 6, or something. Worn out and uncomfortable mattresses and pillows.
Low quality breakfast food. Waffle maker barely working. They did not even have paper cups for waffle butter. Every step was crying "cheap!"

When you take out money for incidentals off a card and 5 days later it is not in your account! I offered to pay cash they said no now its Friday and I left there Sunday morning and still don't have it in my account! This place was taken over by another out fit. I have stayed there the last 5 years at the same time each year .This was the last year I stay here.The next place I check and see who is running the property .If it is the same group the front desk person told me. I will not stay at any of their properties.Not customer friendly!

Best Marriott Stay I’ve Had in Albany
Pros:

After staying at three different Marriott properties in Albany, this one is easily the best within city limits. The hotel feels noticeably newer than the others, which really shows in the overall cleanliness and comfort. It’s also in a great spot close to plenty of restaurants, making it easy to grab dinner without having to drive far.

Check‑in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were genuinely nice and welcoming. It set a positive tone right from the start.

If you’re looking for a clean, modern, and convenient Marriott in Albany, this one stands out above the rest. I’d absolutely stay here again.

It was a very quick visit. We relaxed and left for the airport very early.
Pros:

We missed breakfast as we had to leave for the airport at 4:00 a.m.
