Our fridge didn't get cold and ruined food we had. We didn't realize till check out day. The A/c in the single room did not work and it was extremely hot.

Bed very uncomfortable, pillow go flat almost immediately after laying on them, door was loss and gaps alone the edge with lots of light coming in from the hallway. As a female it didn’t feel safe.

That they try to scam people. Saying the price is going to be one thing online and then adding an extra $200 whenever it was time to pay. The lady didn’t even tell us the price, she just said, please insert your card for the payment. Like, no ma’am. If I wouldn’t have double checked the price we would’ve payed an extra $200. And she asked if we were doing the valet parking, which we weren’t because we were getting dropped off, and she still tried to charge us $50 per night for it. This place was a joke!! I’d rather stay at a cheap simple hotel than one with rude employees and people that try to rip you off.

Disappointingly dirty and unkempt.
Pros:

The location is great and the staff was friendly

Cons:

The rooms were very dirty. I was moved to 3 different rooms in less than 24hrs. Two of the three rooms I stayed in weren’t vacuumed, stained bedding, dead insects, calcium and rust stains in the bathrooms, dirty windows, the ceiling was falling in. The second room I stayed had an air conditioner that malfunctioned. I woke up to 84°F. Housekeeping only comes every other day so near the elevators, lots of trash was piled up. Tons of ants on the elevators even up to the top floor. The pool is also totally uncovered.

Overlooking the San Antonio Riverwalk
Pros:

Check in was easy, no issues.
Room was spacious and very clean. It has all the essentials (fridge, microwave, dining ware, stove top, iron and ironing board) one would need for an extended stay even though I was only in town for a short visit.
I had a queen suite with a separate sofa bed and suitable for 4-5 people. Great bath and other room amenities.
Location- the location is great for access to and from SAT airport (Bus 7) stops very close to the hotel, Bus 67 can get you over to the H-E-B grocery store.
The hotel is also 10-15 mins walk from most top SA attractions (The Alamo, La Villita, Institute of Texan Cultures, River Center shopping center, The Riverwalk, Tower of the Americas, Market Square and more).
There’s also a wonderful free breakfast with lots to choose from and for any diet served in the hotels dining and lobby area. The lobby is huge and a great place to relax.
My stay was lovely!
