Worth the Stay
Pros:

Annapolis is a wonderful place to visit. The Graduate is a unique place. The naval memorabila was so interesting. Loved the rooms and the decorations. Bed was very comfortable as was the whole room including the bathroom. Very clean! and quiet! Had an after dinner drink at the bar. Bartenders were fun and very attentice. All are young guys and girls. Would absolutely stay here again.

Strong service, as always
Pros:

Great stay, as always — front desk team took care of me through a late check in, while Alex and the valet team ensured my car in place to load up under the overhang while it was raining. Terrific service all around!

Would happily stay again
Pros:

The Graduate Annapolis was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel at home from check-in through departure. The bar and restaurant a standout, with a great atmosphere, excellent cocktails, and surprisingly good food that made it a destination in its own right.

The hotel’s design is one of its biggest strengths. It does a terrific job blending Naval Academy-inspired details with Chesapeake Bay influences, creating a space that feels both distinctive and connected to Annapolis rather than like a typical chain hotel.

The air conditioning deserves a mention as well—it kept the room impressively cold, which was especially appreciated during the summer heat. The only drawback was a slight musty or moldy odor in the room, likely related to the HVAC system. It wasn’t enough to detract significantly from an otherwise excellent stay, but it’s something the hotel should address.

Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking West Street and the windows offered excellent soundproofing.

Also I did not want a room with an interconnecting door and I was easily able to select the room of my choice by checking in via the app.

Overall, this is a character-filled hotel with exceptional service, a great bar and restaurant, thoughtful local design, and a fantastic location. With the musty odor resolved, it would be an easy five-star experience.

Very clean, but would choose another hotel for our next trip to Annapolis.
Pros:

Our room was very clean, our request for adjoining rooms was accommodated, which was great, and the beds were comfortable.

Cons:

For the price of the room, I expected more attentive service. Parking is expensive and the valet parking was not easy. While not rude, the staff wasn't particularly friendly or engaged. The location didn't feel very safe for walking around, especially at night (I've lived in and travelled to lots of cities, big and small).

Nice hotel but AVOID POINDEXTER'S FOR BREAKFAST
Pros:

I was with a group for a 4 day conference. Breakfast service was super slow at every stage from getting a menu to paying. The staff was surly about it to boot.

There seemed to be no way to speed it up. For instance, the first day I ordered yogurt and granola. 20 minutes! And when it came it was the same package ($7) from the quick take-out at the entrance to the restaurant. Yet when I tried to use my breakfast voucher there, for some reason we were not allowed to.

If you want breakfast, It was definitely faster to head out and go to one of the delicious and faster places within a block or two in any directions. For a delicious sit-down meal, I highly recommend The Light House Bistro.

PS: The hotel otherwise did us proud, with delicious lunches and dinners served in a conference room. All the staff from the private bartender to the various people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
