This beautiful hotel is only a short walk to Capitol Hill and the train station.
Pros:

Our room was a decent size, and the location was quiet, safe and walking distance to the train station and Capitol Hill.

Cons:

Nothing, all good. Just don't get the Hilton hotels mixed up. I walked back to the Hilton near the Lincoln hotel and needed an Uber to drive me back to the other Hilton. :)

Great location for Capitol and Mall
Pros:

Good location for Capitol tours and National Mall, Metro and Union Station close. Could use cheap parking garage north of Union Station instead of expensive valet at hotel. We were there for July 4th anniversary and were happy we could take regular breaks at the hotel from the heat outside.

Cons:

Ratings and comments for breakfast were not good (no buffet but vouchers for orders that would not suffice), thus we had breakfast in close by shops (different price categories available), we would have preferred a buffet inside the hotel.

Great location, comfortable rooms, and an attentive staff.
Pros:

Nice spacious room with a comfortable bed. Good to above average food (a little pricey - but then again, all of D.C. is pricey). Very attentive staff. Clean and well run, I would definitely stay here again.
