Overall a wonderful experience
Pros:

How friendly the front desk was, smelled wonderful in the lobby, close to airport with transport for free.

Cons:

Wish the fireplaces were on outside by pool.

Pros:

The restaurant had a terrific burger and food. The bartender Jerry was also very accommodating. The room also was very nice, and spacious.

Cons:

Parking fees onsite are overpriced , and I didn’t get my room checked in till 4:30. I arrived at 2:50p for a 3p check in, I was told the room, wasn’t ready, and I would get a call. I waited in the lobby for an hour, and a half. No call , I went to the desk, and the person seemed to have forgot about me.

This was a great pet friendly hotel and so conveniently located! It’s perfect for those flying into John Wayne airport plus it’s perfectly positioned to be close in proximity to all the OC hot spots

Awesome service and experience
Pros:

I don't normally write reviews of businesses unless they stand out - either bad ir good. My wife and Intravel frequently and have seen the whole gamut of service and amenities. Our recent stay at the Hilton Irvne was stellar, starting with a very reasonable price and close proximity to Orange County airport. Our shuttle driver, an older gentleman, was extremely polite and genuinely engaging. He asked whether we had to wait long, spoke with everyone throughout the ride providing general info about the hotel, restaurant, and food, and providing specific info to each of us based on our responses, and ensuring we all had what we needed.

Check in with the Hilton app was easy, and it showed me not only the location within the hotel where our room was, but showed other available rooms on each floor at the same price point. The room was what one would expect - clean, modern, and very comfy beds. We called for an extra blanket and one was delivered within minutes.

The Breakfast buffet capped the experience. A wide variety of fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, and cereals, and everything was fresh and high quality. But the wait staff were even better than the food, ensuring we had what we needed, keeping our coffee and water filled, while being courteous and unobtrusive. I could expect no better wai staff at a top restaurant in the area. I would come here just for the buffet if I lived close.
