Loved this place. It’s beautiful and there are other buildings attached to this complex for drinks and to eat

Love this place. We were never there before . Everyone there is so friendly. They greeted us at the desk and were friendly and since we were never there, they explained everything to us

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast area . Where you go for free breakfast is really cramped. There were a lot of people there and they have very good food . I especially loved the fact you make your own waffles! It’s just very cramped. There were people in the mini refrigerator getting hard boiled eggs or milk and it was difficult to walk around them . If you can beat the crowd it’s amazing there .

Pros:

Great location for visiting Green Lakes State Park. The property was near a shopping plaza and restaurants. Booking.com doesn’t mention it, but the breakfast is included and wasn’t your usual hotel fare- fresh sandwiches on croissants, fresh baked goods, glass plates and real silverware!

We stayed here as an alternative to an airport hotel. It was much nicer and just 20 minutes from local airport, SYR

Delightful, comfortable hotel - would stay again
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room (a suite) was huge. Laundry facilities were free. Room had a kitchenette. Restaurant nearby. Breakfast had decent selection of options, including gluten free.

Cons:

There wasn’t a convenient place to park if you’re towing a trailer.

Very pleasant stay at the Craftsman Inn
Pros:

We had a great stay at the Craftsman Inn. The room was lovely and very clean, the staff was pleasant. It's also a great location, across the street from a Town Center and minutes away from Green Lakes State Park. Complementary breakfast was a plus!
Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

DISAPOINTING STAY
Pros:

Having stayed at the Craftsman Inn several times in the past, this stay was extremely disappointing, to say the least !
Being placed on the first floor was not an issue, but the two dogs, left unattended, and barking every time someone passed by, was unacceptable. People can fly the "SERVICE DOG" flag, but it's gone too far and is abused and is out of hand. A service dog, #1, should accompany the handler being serviced, not left alone. #2, a true service dog is trained to be quiet, even if left alone for a short time. These animals were clearly just family dogs tagging along, ruining all surrounding guests stay, while the owner was out enjoying themselves.
After repeated calls, the front desk assured us that the owner was contacted and was returning, from where, who knows. After hours, we requested and were given a room change.
