Great location. Reasonable prices.
Pros:

The accommodations were beautiful.

Cons:

The beds were memory foam ... not comfortable for anyone with a bad back. The foam also retains heat and is so hot.

Pros:

Hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and modern, very clean, big TV screen, staff is very courteous, the lady that takes care of breakfast is very attentive and goes above and beyond to serve and help guests. Very conveniently located, has a nice restaurant plus you have a large strip mall in front (supermarket, food, clothing and different stores). 5 minutes or so from Green Lakes state park, the best combo of nature and urban setting.

Cons:

I wish rooms had a microwave, The small fridge was nice, not sure if it was defective or not very potent. At that value I feel microwaves should be available in rooms. Not a deal breaker considering other factors like a very decent breakfast and nice facility.

Steakhouse is a major letdown.
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff. Modern updated bathrooms.

Cons:

Major let down at the Craftsman Steakhouse. Which was one of the reasons for selecting hotel. 4/4 plates came out with raw steaks that should have been medium. Restaurant seriously dropped the ball. We were forced to find another restaurant on zero notice with limited time left in the evening. Really compromised the experience on a weekend we were mourning the loss of my mother. Probably wouldn’t return based on that experience alone.

Exceptional experience.
Pros:

Thank you for adding to our 49th anniversary experience. The room was perfect, dinner was awesome. Everyone working there was extremely nice and helpful. (Shout out to the front desk receptionist on Wednesday afternoon. Sorry, don't know her name) We love this area and plan on coming back.

Under expectations, first time staying there and last time.
Pros:

Check in staff friendly. Evening staff "Andrew" was awesome. We had a toilet seat full of poop and he immediately came to the suite to clean the toilet, no questions asked.

Cons:

We expect cleaning staff to clean, especially under the toilet seat. The breakfast was nothing to brag about. Same as a Red Rood Inn or any lower cost hotel.

Convenient Location - Overpriced - minimal services and outdated dank room
Pros:

Booked a "suite" for SU graduation; paid over $1000 for one person for 2 nights. The outside of this hotel looks fancy and cool, but the room was neither. The suite is one room, zero decor, old furniture and lamps, a coffee maker that doesn't work, no room service, not even one bottle of water in the room. There is no information in the room about the hotel or the area; just a stark bare cold room with no vibe. The suites are in a separate building, and you have to walk across the parking lot to get to the lobby, where there is coffee and breakfast, which ends promptly at 10am. The peephole on the door was about 6 feet up, so I couldn't see out without a chair. It seems they can get away with charging $500/night based on limited availability in the area for people visiting Syracuse University. This "inn and suites" is more of a motel ala Schitt's Creek. Don't expect luxury, even if paying luxury prices.

Positive: convenient location, attached restaurant (which I did not try) nice staff.

Mixed experience
Pros:

Manager and desk clerks sadly gave different information to guests. My room was never cleaned during my 3 1/2 day stay, and I only was able to get clean towels by finally finding someone to give me some at 11 PM the night before my departure. I was grateful to get a room during the Syracuse graduation, but the price was quite outrageous. Breakfast was good, and the people who worked were lovely and worked very hard, other than the manager who called me in the middle of the Syracuse graduation.

Cool shower
Pros:

I stayed in room 174 and did not have a hot shower the entire week. In addition the shower valve is plumbed backward, hot is col and cold is hot. This needs to be corrected. I have 2 more stays upcoming and hope to not get this room again
