This was our first time staying at the Hotel Theo, but we will definitely be staying there again when we visit the Crescent City! Our room was comfortable, had all the necessary amenities and was spotless. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the Vieux Carre, the CBD and all that central NOLA has to offer, and it was much quieter than other hotels we've stayed at in the past, so we always got a good night's sleep
The restaurant, Lyon;s Corner, is great for breakfast before starting out on a day in the city (the salmon toast with poached egg was a favorite, as was the breakfast skillet). Will, the restaurant manager, was great as well!
What really set this hotel apart, though, was the staff. Gwen, Malcolm, Timothy, Javon and Carey at the front desk were always super helpful and responsive, and Emanuel and Corey run a great ship!
We will definitely be staying here on our future trips - thanks for a great stay!

Leslie and the team was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Boutique hotel with nostalgic nawlins vibe and within walking distance to most attractions in downtown. Rooms were comfortable and the value met expectations.
Kerry took care of us at the front desk, and let me tell you, this man was the most professional and kind mannered person I’ve come across in a while. Absolutely no complaints. Beautiful stay. Great atmosphere. Would 1000% return and recommend! Kerry, you’re the man!
The location was perfect
Room was small, water was never hot, and the tub drained extremely slow.
Everything about our stay was perfect. Being from N.O.' s my wife and I have had the high end hotel experience but prefer the more quaint personal touch that this hotel offered. From the staff, location, room was charming and clean. We love this place and will be back.
Nice, clean, great location. Loved having Lyons Corner connected to the hotel, super convenient. Staff was very helpful and friendly
Good location and small
Nothing
The staff was not very friendly during my stay. At check-in, nothing was explained about the property, and since it was my first time there, I would have appreciated a brief overview of the hotel amenities and restaurant hours. As an Elite member with Hilton, there was also no acknowledgment or welcome amenity offered.
Additionally, when I called the front desk to report that the toilet in my room was not working, the second-shift associate (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) seemed bothered by the request and responded in a very dry, nonchalant manner. About 10 minutes later, he did call my room back and offered to come fix the issue.
The property itself is nice, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.
beautiful decor, clean, good location.
Terrible water pressure and no hot water. Waited ten minutes for water to warm up but it was just lukewarm. We were visiting during a cold snap so this was uncomfortably cold for a shower. My poor customer service experience: I booked a room with 2 queen beds but when I arrived they said none left. This was through Booking . com which I understand may not be the hotels fault, but Booking . com says the hotel receives the bookings and approves them so they put me into a room with only one bed and did not inform me or reimburse me the difference. The gentleman staff was a positive lively person but when I had this issue he was dismissive and unhelpful.
Staff checked on me daily to see if everything was ok or if I needed anything! Very personal experience overall! Kudos Malcolm!

Birthday trip for 5 nights. First room was facing Camp St. and was super loud. Room felt like an old dorm room. Construction was happening and I was startled by the construction worker right outside the window, required to have blinds closed most of the time. Construction was loud so we asked to move rooms. 2nd room - The heater didn't work, and no hot water. I let the water run for 20 min and then the water got warm/hot. I used my survival skills and utilized the blow dryer from 1980's to keep warm...lol. They sent someone to repair the heater but it wasn't repaired. So, it was freezing since we were there during the arctic storm that passed through. We had to ask for additional blankets and slept with layers. Since it's an older building the layout was odd. You can't sit on the toilet if you have long legs - as your legs will hit the door or the side wall. Small vanity space. At least the wall paper in the bathroom was cute.
Staff was attentive. Unfortunately, the things lacking with the hotel were not their fault. Hotel restaurant was good but under staffed. I felt bad for the waitress. They were also out of a lot of things, including beer, which was on the happy hour menu. Gym in hotel was under construction - they offered passes to the local gym. Location was 2 blocks from Canal which was good.
