Free wifi? Lmao didn't even work

So dirty, everything was broken, even the metal from where the headboard used to be was still attached to the wall/broken.. it was the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in

My room smelt so strongly of bleach, my tv was broken, and my room was damp.

Smelled like musty and drugs

I want to express my strong dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Motel 6 in WI,
When I checked in, the staff member was on a personal phone call, appeared unwelcomed, and was too distracted to assist patrons properly. As a result, my credit card had to be swiped twice coz she was too occupied.
Furthermore, the condition of the room was completely unacceptable:
- The trash can was not emptied and contained trash from previous guests.
- I found what appeared to be bed bugs on the bedsheets.
- There was a dead cockroach on the floor.

Everything was horrible, I stayed there all of 3?0 weeks and didn't get room service at all and the tv didn't work

Room was in disrepair toilet seat falling off,toilet ran most of the time. Airconditioner was probably not draining condensate to the outside made everything wet. The sink faucet didn't fit the countertop and was falling off. I would have complained but the staff had to be aware of the condition of the room and decided not to do anything about it. I try to stay at Motel 6 whenever I travel because they cater to pet owners they are usually clean and it is a good idea not to have carpet in rooms. This stay has made me question weather to stay at Motel 6 again

I marked that this property met my expectations because my expectations were very, very low. Why did I stay here? Long story short, a 21,000-person conference took up EVERY LAST hotel room, AirBNB, VRBO, etc. This was literally the last affordable room available (all others were $500/night or more) and I DID read the reviews, so I knew what to expect. Yet, this hotel found ways to disappoint. The night receptionist, with whom I had most interactions, was unpleasant at best, intentionally rude at worst. One night my room key didn't work (apparently this is a regular occurrence) I asked the security guard where she was (after getting his head out of his phone, he didn't offer any information) so I went out front where I found the receptionist talking with a few people. As soon as I stepped out and looked at her she barked "I'm on my break." "My room key doesn't work" I replied, and she said she'd return in 5 minutes.

I never felt in any actual danger, but it was uncomfortable, drab, depressing and for what I paid, not worth it. Mind you, it did provide a place to sleep, and for that, I can't give it a 1 = bad rating.

Room was very damp despite AC being on full blast when I arrived and remained damp throughout the stay. There was a spot on the floor that was cracked and lifting near the bed that leaked water when stepped on.
