Close to the airport, clean, good deal for a suite (we were 6 and paid 222 CAD)
The bed couch was not pulled out when we arrived, there was no hand soap, there were only 3 towels (we were 6), the bottle of body cream was empty.
This is the only hotel I enjoy staying at because if its comfortable beds and has a separate living room.
I always get put on the third floor and it seems like its the noisy floor. Im a Hilton Honours member and I never get upgraded when I ask. Maybe I book to late?
Breakfast was delicious and filling
I was usable to log into the wifi
Close to airport
Nothing
The bed was very comfortable
This hotel is a Hilton in name only. It is run like a much cheaper brand and largely ignores Hilton Diamond benefits.
Pros: renovated rooms (6th floor), large TVs, nice bathrooms, helpful and friendly restaurant staff
Cons: staff apologize a lot but do nothing to actually respond to requests or solve the many issues that arise due to poor management, Executive Lounge closed (but they don't tell you until you arrive), no free breakfast for Gold/Diamond but instead a CAD 16 credit while breakfast will run you at least $25 without coffee, sofa beds are cheap to the point they cannot be slept on and no pillows provided, housekeeping closes at 10pm and the single front desk night staff doesn't have a key to the housekeeping closet, emails prior to arrival go unanswered, there is one gentleman at the front desk who thinks he's the warden instead of a Hilton employee there to support paying customers.
Understood that staff may be frustrated by the hotel being consistently at capacity because it seems it is being used to house people displaced due to the wildfires in the north, but the answer is to increase staffing rather than decrease quality, surely. This hotel should not be permitted to advertise/be branded under Hilton.
Had betere bedden verwacht, hadden 2 full size bedden en een slaapbank, die laagste was wel een verrassing.
Had iets meer verwacht van een Hilton.
Cleanliness
There were a lot of evacuees but well behaved.
Convenient and easy to check in
Nothing
I like the property for having a room that accommodate a family of 6. The room was exactly what we were looking for and breakfast was excellent.
Not a single bad experience.
