Pros:

A very stylish and comfortable hotel with classic features and a fair degree of opulence. The location is great the service generally excellent.

Cons:

The gym is insufficient for this type of 5* hotel, the parking is not covered and should be at the price. There were several small maintenance issues with toilet doors, window shutters etc that didn’t function properly.

Great place for a short stay
Pros:

Fabulous grand hotel, beautiful architecture, period appointments, wonderful gardens and pool.

Cons:

What’s going on with the staff? The young ones look like they’ve started the day with a telling off and are miserable and the older ones in management positions are just miserable. Lighten up guys, you work in one of the nicest places in the world…. Smile!!!

A BEACH SIDE GRAND HOTEL!!!
Pros:

The Grand Hotel Rimini is a superb historic grand hotel situated across the beach in fashionably chic Rimini. The hotel's public areas are spectacularly grand, and evoke the glory and the pomp of the Belle Epoque, Our room was functional without being exceptional. The bathroom whilst renovated, reminded of the type you see in cookie cutter apartments. The breakfast lounge/restaurant is spectacular and you will feel like you are in a Fellaini movie from the 1960s. The gardens are wonderful and there is a large car park adjacent to the hotel if you arrive by car. The hotel is brilliantly located across the road from the beach and a short 30 minute drive from micro-nation San Marino. Restaurants, shops and the old town are all close by...and Rimini is a fun place to be! If we ever visit Rimini again, the Grand Hotel Rimini will be the place we will stay at again.

un buon soggiorno, ma pieno di stress, per un servizio non in linea con le nostre aspettative

Ottima la colazione in una location all'altezza della fama dell' Hotel, ottimo il servizio e buona la qualità della cucina al ristorante. Ottimo il servizio in spiaggia.

Cons:

La camera assegnataci era orientata verso il parcheggio interno: un affaccio decisamente tergale e del tutto disallineato rispetto al prestigio e agli standard di un hotel a 5 stelle lusso. In questa specifica area retrostante si concentrano le attività di servizio della cucina e della logistica, le quali generano rumori molesti fin dalle prime ore del mattino. Sebbene la stanza fosse spaziosa, l'arredamento si è rivelato eccessivamente minimale e privo di quella cura del dettaglio che caratterizza invece le sistemazioni rivolte verso il giardino interno o il mare. Il comfort interno è stato ulteriormente compromesso da gravi carenze tecniche: l'impianto di aerazione è risultato talmente rumoroso da impedire alla mia compagna di riposare, mentre la pressione dell'acqua nel bagno era talmente insufficiente da rendere difficoltoso persino fare una doccia. È francamente inaccettabile che in una struttura di questa categoria non vengano garantiti i requisiti minimi di isolamento acustico e di efficienza degli impianti. A tutto ciò si è aggiunto l'atteggiamento inadeguato del personale di reception. Di fronte alle legittime rimostranze della mia compagna, un’addetta ha candidamente affermato che, per evitare stanze di questo tipo e ottenerne una migliore, avremmo dovuto evitare la prenotazione tramite Booking.com. Trovo sconcertante che una vostra collaboratrice liquidi il problema scaricando la responsabilità su un canale di vendita esterno, come se gli ospiti che prenotano tramite determinati portali siano considerati clienti "di serie B" per i quali la struttura non sia tenuta a rispondere. Siamo già clienti della struttura, così come utilizziamo regolarmente Booking.com, e in entrambi i casi ci aspettiamo il massimo livello di servizio. Sentirsi consigliare di bypassare i canali digitali solo per ottenere i servizi minimi garantiti dalla normale classificazione alberghiera si commenta da sé.

ein schönes Grand Hotel an der falschen Stelle
Pros:

Das alte Grand Hotel ist sehr schön, edel, fein und elegant; die Lage ist die beste in Rimini, der Pool und das Bagno (Strandbad) sind ebenso, der kleine Park ist wunderschön; der Parkplatz ist ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind schön und auch recht vollständig ausgestattet, was aber bei 5 Sternen Standard ist. Frühstück und Essen sind recht gut. Ausser der schönen Altstadt von Rimini mit ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten ist der Ort am Meer (Lungomare) übervoll und überlaut und fast unangenehm, der alte Charm ist weg.

Cons:

Zunächst der Lärm in der Umgebung (Lugomare) und die viel zu vielen Menschen, auch der Zustand der Straße Lungomare und der der Geschäfte dort, auch das z.T recht ungehobelte Publikum dort und auch im Hotel

Nice hotel but not with a festival 30m from the hotel. Music went on to 4 in the morning.

The property was very nice.

Cons:

We booked the hotel for 4 days at the end of a site seeing trip in Italy. The whole four days was ruined by a festival going on next door to the hotel. If we had been informed then we could have booked a different hotel if we wanted to.
