Proximity to the Atlanta Braves Stadium was extremely convenient. The outside of the property was well kept the swimming pool area is tucked away nicely for privacy and feels like a nice place to relax.
The lobby restaurant and bar area were nice although hours are extremely limited. Beyond the first floor lobby and the outside areas the hotel itself feels a little dated dressed up with some paint. The rooms are very small for what you pay. Also I was charged several hundred dollars more for the room than what Booking.com showed. I would pay as a total price. I understand this is likely because it was a game day and the Braves were home. The online room service is a joke. I placed an order at 7 o’clock at night. Waited till 840 at night and went downstairs and was told oh it will probably be there soon. It never came and I was charged for it.
Good location to Truist Park. Bed was very comfortable. Size of the TV was nice.
The faucet in the bathroom was loose. The shower floor was very slippery-a dangerous hazard for senior citizens. Complimentary coffee in the lobby would be nice. Seemed a bit understaffed in the bar area.
Stayed at the Marriott for our friends annual baseball weekend. Rooms were clean and neat. Location was really convenient to Truist Park and the Battery (less than a mile away). There was also a complimentary shuttle that could bring you within 3 miles of the hotel. We used the shuttle to get to the Battery the first day and each of the next 2 days. Jimmy was a great help with the shuttle and had great recommendations for local breakfast and dinner (J. Christopher's and Papacitos). I would recommend the Marriott to anyone who is visiting Atlanta for a Braves game
The facility was clean. The staff was friendly. The location was perfect for our visit to the ballpark.
I didn't realize there wasn't a mini fridge or microwave in the room. The ice machine on our floor didn't work.
The Marriott NW Galleria is a fairly nice hotel with a good bar and food, and comfortable rooms. It’s a little dated and worn in areas, but the staff is friendly and welcoming and the hotel is clean.
What was disappointing was that on some days I had no hot water in my room, on other days it was scalding and plentiful. There was also no option to put the room AC on a fan or “steady” mode. This means that the very loud room AC unit cycles on and off all night which is loud and not restful, and it provides for significant temperature swings in the room all night. This seems like it could be easily fixed as like most hotel rooms, a fan mode creates steady noise all night, and evens out the temperature swings.
Lastly, please put in a self check out scanner in the lobby Pantry snack bar. Waiting 10 minutes for a desk agent to be free just to purchase a bottle of water is unacceptable. Additionally, the desk agents were quite busy at most of the times I was there.
It was a nice stay, I love the proximity to Truist Park, and I’d likely stay here again. Just be aware of some of the quirks.
Being close to truist park
Room had water damage on the ceiling. Black mold around the tub. Hole in the bathroom door that had been painted over.
Beautiful, clean hotel. Loved the free shuttle service to and from Truist Park
Close to truist park and shuttle was a plus
Rooms were dated but we're ok for the time spent in it
The Marriot had everything we needed to enjoy a short get-away concert. We were especially impressed with Jimmy, who went above and beyond to offer transportation to our venue (we were going to walk until Jimmy kindly approached to offer us a ride). During the drive he offered options for dinner, and shared details about the city he clearly loves. The next day he greeted us again as we prepared to head back home. Great employees make businesses successful and we will be back to see Jimmy!

Breakfast
The worst stay we have ever had in a Marriott Hotel. This hotel is old and wore out. Although the hotel was packed due to an Eagles concert nearby, that is no excuse for check-in delays, no hot water and the shuttle failing to pick us up after the concert. It turned what should have been a great evening into a somewhat disappointing evening. Old people love a long walk, in the dark, trying to return to the hotel. There are better options in the area.
This place has gone downhill. They used to have a staff that knew the regular business travelers that stayed here. Asked the lady who checked me in if my room on concierge lounge and she said yes!! Uhh wrong floor put me on 15 lounge on 16? Sunday 4-26-26 no appetizers or snacks on Sundays?!? Arrived and concierge lounge 5 waters 6 diet sodas in fridge. Room AC in-op w a shotty patch work job all around the rooms ceiling like there’s been a leak. Bartender in restaurant had no idea how voucher worked (2nd time) and tried to charge me for what the $10 voucher was supposed to take care of. Under staffed at the bar w an again inexperienced bartender as I was not there to drink but just to order food to go. Hilariously my order for a burger was 10$ and I gave the server a $20 and he asked if i wanted change? Unreal!!!! Breakfast in the concierge no bueno. Why am I loyal to a place like this had me thinking!! What happened to Marriott setting the standards? The room is out dated and not the cleanest. So what happens is you guys don’t care anymore because someone else will pay for below average service and room accommodations. As an Ambassador member will never stay at the NW Galleria Marriott again….maybe I should pay attention to that 3.5 rating?!?!
Excellent hotel choice for Braves trip! Easy walking distance.
The beds were very comfortable
