Closeness to the theatre.

Cons:

Wasnt able to check in earlier, then didnt get a text saying room ready. Checked in asked about bags said they'd be there they werent. Tried ringing reception twice no one answered, spoke to a man about bags who said ah they on their way, didnt bother contacting consierage. We were due to meet people in a very short timeframe of checking in with no luggage. TV didnt work. Then to top it off our room was noisy all night, it may have been the closeness to the pub or hotel's outside air conditioners. When I did mention it on checkout he asked if were on the cnr, so maybe those rooms are an issue.

location was close to Palace Theatre

Cons:

MANY THINGS. room was way out back with v8ew of rooftops. Shower was in bathtub. No water pressure in Shower or sink. Room was freezing all night.Floor was uneven and TV tiny.
BREAKFAST COST $35pp. A LA CARTE with minimal choice. Offered one pastry, one main meal. Tea and sugar were dumped other side of our table. staff rude. Told one choice. I asked for toast and cereal was told ONE ONLY. Will be charge for extra. Seriously $35 for hard toast and cup of tea!
Will NEVER RECOMMEND OR STAY AGAIN.

Open window for air conditioning pipe lets in a lot of street noise along with being right on top of a tram stop. The room was quite noisy and the single beds were quite hard.

Great room, great location, rand hotel feel

Breakfast was very dissapointing for the cost - Eggs Benedict very basic and was an uneven temperature. Needed a bit more/extra to lift to expectations
