Old world charm
Breakfast was well received. Poached eggs perfectly cooked. Plenty of restaurants close by.Air conditioning in room was very cool and controls difficult to work out. Light switches for the bathroom very hard to work out.
Everything was clean, the staff was very professional and warm at the same time. We loved our breakfast and we will definitely be back!

Most comfy bed and pillows. Very spacious. Window to Spring St. Marble bathroom decor. Great location to CBD and transport. High ceilings. Liked that my backpack was in the room when I returned to check-in late afternoon after Show matinee.
No teatowel or dishwash liquid. Also, no toaster in room. No price list for Bar goods in fridge.
We attended a function within the Hotel, and everything morphed and pampered us beautifully - like arrival, a wine in the bar, check in, freshen up, banquet in the Grand Ballroom, zzzs in the room, freshen up for breakfast and back home - all in 24 hours. No stress, no sweat, helpful staff, a touch of class. An overall big tick.
A room with a view would have been nice - but the only opportunity to observe the view was in the dark!
