Breakfast was buffet style, plenty of options, great coffee, but go early as options were light if you went late. Geared up for the early risers for sure! The room was nicely appointed with 2 Queen beds, decent shower room (although I do love a bathtub). Toiletries on hand. TV/WIFI, Everything you needed for a short stay, the mini fridge was a bonus. I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the location for Downtown. It's set in the heart of the MUSC campus, ideal for medical services etc. but I needed walking distance to Downtown, and it didn't disappoint. It's not obviously in the heart of the tourist market, however, if you need something well priced its right on point. I walked or took very low priced Ubers. I felt I was 15 mins walk from everywhere(COFC) for the MUSIC you are literally 5 mins in every direction for medical services. Pool and fitness room rounded out my stay, it felt extra!
I went "late" for breakfast my first morning, probably after 8am. The options were limited, I didn't know that until the next morning when I went early and it was a bounty! Its buffet style, however, you do need some better staff support. When the coffee ran dry, people were in a panic!!

I will never use Bookin again I will book straight from the resort next time. I called yall and yall didn't want to compare with the hotel and yall charged 100.00 more than the motel. Yall are not but thieves. Yall are steady stealing from ppl.

I really liked the beds, blankets, and pillows at the hotel. They were so comfortable.
I was disappointed with my stay. When I booked, the website stated that parking would cost $35 per day, which was an unexpected extra expense. I also did not appreciate someone knocking on our door before the official checkout time. The breakfast did not meet my expectations, and I was not happy with the location either. Overall, the experience was not what I had hoped for.

The hospitality is out of the world. They were very welcoming especially the reception team namely Kenjie. She was sweet and approachable. I would recommend a 100 % for stay.

Ants! While our car was parked in the mandatory $35 a day valet parking, it was infested with ants. When we brought this to the attention of the valet, we were told that another guest had the same issue and they would park our car in a different place. He said " Google says this place is sitting on an ant bed". When asked what they were going to do about the ants, we were told ask the front desk. At the front desk, there were two people and they were busy. The gentleman, I believe a manager, told us to tell the valet about the ants. We stated he told us to come talk to you. The gentleman walked us outside, I believe to get is away from the other guests while we were talking about ants. The solution the hotel came up with was to spray Raid all over the car. And left us to wipe down the poison and air out the car. None of these people showed any concern. They actually acted like we were disturbing them by bringing this up. By the way. We were told by the valet that he has not looked for any ant beds and others have had this issue as well.

Not kept up. Shocking that a Marriott has such a below average lobby area. Rooms are good, ***Get up early, Breakfast stops at 9am. Paid breakfast and they stop refilling eggs, etc.. between 8:30 and 8:44 snatching things up a few min.

Unknown separate fee of valet parking mandatory to park at the hotel. Give the customer a heads up. Seemed cheap not being a 5 star hotel. Make sure to close your curtains. People next door can see in.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful, gave me extra towels when I didn’t even ask and were very responsive to any questions I had. Valet parking was easy breezy.
