Though it's an older hotel, it is fantastic value for money: comfortable, location and great staff!
Pros:

Amazing view of the bay from my room. A very comfortable bed. The room was small but perfect for one person. I was happy to have enough hanging space and a full length mirror which surprisingly many places do not have! The location is fantastic. There is a supermarket just across the street and lots of great food options in the area. Super close walk to Kings Cross station and a bus stop also virtually outside the front door. All of the staff I encountered were super lovely and helpful. This is an older hotel but well maintained and such great value for money compared to what's available in Sydney.

Spacious Rooms
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and came with a bath tub. I had a room with views of Elzabeth Bay catching the morning sunrises. This alone was a bonus for me as I enjoyed a hot morning drink with the sunrise veiws from the room window.

Cons:

The directions for finding the rooms and laundry was confusing. The staff didnt really engage as you entered or exited the lobby. The TV didn't work in the room. Needs a bit of colour in the hallway.

Older hotel in good location. Ok for a quick overnight stay and clean. Rooms are very small.
Pros:

The location is amazing. The hotel however is old and rundown in places. It needs a multimillion dollar makeover. The staff do the best they can. For a quick stay though if you just need a place to wash and sleep if in town on a busy weekend or quick overnight stay, its ok. Just ask to stay at level 2 or above as lower level rooms have that old musty sewerage / damp smell about them and no open windows for fresh air.

Cons:

The lower ground level rooms. I did have to ask to move to a better room, however the staff were VERY accommodating. The second room was smaller, but it was clean, better furniture and had a better bed.
