Just that the customer service was excellent. Won’t be staying there anytime soon till they upgrade their Carpets.

wish I would have got my cookie but it was decent stay.

I like the location of the hotel.

Cons:

I did not like that the room felt dirty and when I checked into the first time the room had stains so I had to be moved to another room and the new room smelled really bad. I didn’t want to have to change rooms again so I stuck it out. But it smelled like someone had just used the bathroom and stunk it up. So was pretty disappointed.

Super kind supervisor Mr Terraine Willams
Pros:

Whenever I come to L.A., I always stay this hotel. I was so impressed by the staff of this hotel when I checked in just few hours ago.. I've never met anyone like him before. He is well organised and very smart, moreover incredibly kind.
There were a few hiccups during check-in, but he handled everything like a magician—fast and perfect.
I'm so grateful for everything you've done Mr Terraine Williams.
You can rest easy if he’s handling your check-in. He’s hands down the most professional person I’ve worked with.

Pros:

I liked the free car charging. Staff was friendly especially the morning receptionist.

Cons:

The breakfast was really bad. I could barely eat anything. The noise from the freeway was very loud and so was the air conditioner. Carpets on the room really need to be replaced. Seemed dirty, old and weathered.

Pros:

No conditioner, asked for towels never brought them to pool area or hotel room. The next day had to call and ask for towels again since the night before they never came to bring us towels or hair supply.

Cons:

Tha we waited at pool area a long time to dry off and they never brought us towels.

Great Staff
Pros:

Well, we were stuck. I had my grandson out at one of his favorite arcade places and my piece of utter junk new Tesla blew a tire. We were an hour from home. Now, to get another tire, filled with foam and there is no spare at all, that takes hours and hours. You can't just call someone local to get one. You have to call Tesla and it is a nightmare. Rant over.

The Double Tree was right there it seemed so we went in. Thankfully we carry TO GO bags in case I get too tired to drive or just want to stop. We walked in and it was hot outside. The front desk I think knew I was livid and kept me calm and they helped me. They were great. We were able to get a room right away. We had no reservations so the price I thought was high for a hotel that needs a refresh, but we were trapped.

No matter, our room was small, but super clean and all I needed was there. We even used the pool and it was great with some nice seating. They have an eatery right there and we had both dinner and breakfast there and it was great and the staff was wonderful.

The only reason they have a 4 and not a 5 is because it is time to refresh the place, but the staff is a solid 5.

They were great to us and if we are near again we might go back there, this time with a reservation.
