Zimmer sauber, gut. Frühstück sehr gut

Cons:

Ausser im Zimmer alles abgewetzt und verschlissen. Rating 8.8 ist nicht erklärbar??!!
Empfangspersonal nicht nur unfreundlich, auch keine Hilfe für schwere Koffern zum 1. Stock oder wo man etwas zu Essen finden könnte weil ihr Restaurant ausgebucht ist. Und das beim Zimmerpreis von 295£.
Rating und Preis Leistung völlig daneben!!

Overpriced
Pros:

Good location on the NC500. Staff were lovely. Nice bar and lounge.

Cons:

Our stay was overpriced, we have stayed in many expensive hotels and this was not worth £280 for the night. The room was not tiptop decor and the carpet was tired. Bed was only a double, no TV (which I appreciate may be a conscious decision by the hotel) but was missed, and only a bath with shower head. Dinner was a minimum 2 courses for £45 which again was overpriced for mackerel terrine and shop bought oat cakes for starter and belly pork and veg for main course. We did enjoy our stay but £200 max for B&B and £35 for dinner would be more appropriate pricing

Lovely old world charm in a beautiful setting.
Pros:

Location and setting were lovely. An old world setting, very nice and comfortable.

Cons:

I chose the single room with external private bathroom. Though it was clean and fine. I found it uncomfortable. But…that’s on me. I chose it. But don’t recommend it. I’m sure other rooms are lovely.

Pros:

Este stio es guapisimo, el bar, las salas que tiene abajo son realmente muy acojedoras. El señor que lo lleva me ha parecido super amable y sonriente. Deben estar acostumbrados a recibir motero porque llegué con el chubasquero empapado y me dió las llaves del local calderas para dejar alli las cosas a secarse bien. ha sido genial. Aparcar la moto aqui es super seguro porque la zona es remota y no hay problemas.

Mostly good but surcharge disappointing
Pros:

Location, helpfulness of reception staff, pretty room

Cons:

That we had to pay a heafty surcharge fee for a room with a shower. Room booked with booking.com only had a bath.

Pros:

Posto bellissimo! A noi hanno assegnato la Fisherman lodge. Provvista di bagno con lavabo e doccia, secondo bagno con WC e lavabo. Due camere doppie con letti singoli. Bellissimo il salottino con divano, due poltrone e una scrivania con due finestre con vista. Proprietari amorevoli, disponibili e amichevoli. Per il resto hotel ben. Curato, sembra una bomboniera in stile scozzese.
