It was OK, but I won’t do it again.

Overall would stay again for location and value.
Pros:

Location and value were hard to beat. Room attendants were very nice and did a great job cleaning.

Cons:

The elevator to the garage broke down and there wasn’t a microwave in the hotel. Also I requested an air mattress and never got one.

Sadly in need of updating.
Pros:

I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was a beautiful hotel. I was shocked to see how rundown this place has gotten. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are clean. I had to change rooms because of smoke smell in the room. The next room smelled like smoke too. They sprayed it for me and it smelled great but that wore off and the smoke smell is back. Not wanting to complain, I stayed in the room anyway. The rooms are in serious need of an update on decor. This is the Hyatt!! It should be updated and show the care that Hyatt is known for. It’s like they lost their pride in this hotel. Hyatt is known for its style and beautiful rooms. And this hotel is in the perfect location in Palm Springs!! I would recommend that they invest in some interior design makeover of the rooms.

The restaurant is very nice. Friendly staff and view of pool from the inside. However. The patio and the bar outside are closed. So, I didn’t want to go out there because it’s just blah. Not inviting, the windows around the pool need serious attention. Having the bar open and some music would definitely stir up some interest to be out there. Maybe even some water mist would be nice. Some string lights for nighttime ambiance or fake tiki lights. It needs to be jazzed up a bit.

I’m sad to say that my next visit will not be at this hotel. I was definitely not impressed.

Cons:

Room was extremely poor condition. The sink and shower drained very slow, the sheets were extremely hard, rough and uncomfortable, the bed was not comfortable, the balcony door injured my hand because it was so difficult to open. There was only one old broken chair on the balcony we requested a second chair and they never brought us one. I’m surprised Hyatt does not upgrade these rooms.

My recent stay here was excellent! When I first checked in, Anily greeted me with a smile. She made the process effortless and pleasant. She answered all of my questions about parking, food, and hotel amenities. We stayed in the executive king suite and it was so spacious, had a nice size mini fridge and relaxing jet bath tub. The next morning we had breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. Martin was our server and greeted us warmly. His service was above and beyond and because of the hospitality at this hotel, I will definitely come back and recommend to friends/family.

Hotel was a bit run down - it's seen better days. It was off season so a challenge to get poolside service for food/bevs. A/C in room extremely weak. Staff was excellent, friendly and responsive. Had issues checking out when I tried to redeem rewards. Manager was not available and did not respond to several messages. Finally the very helpful front desk staff helped resolve my issue.

Pros:

updated room with working features, a light in the bathroom that was not an exposed bulb, shower did not work, the little water you could get from one side was from a disgusting limestone covered shower head. The tap water is terrible, and the AC was NOT adequate for the room.
